This skirt is made with a heavy weight fabric that holds the A-Line shape nicely. Functional gold tone buttons down the front of the skirt, nice size pockets with lining. Fabric: 95% Polyester 5% Spandex. Approx. measurements are taken lying flat. Length is 16"-16.5" The skirt unbuttons.  Skirt is somewhat high waisted so the band hits higher up on your stomach. . Small: Waist 26"-29" Medium: Waist 29"-32" Large: Waist 32-34"

marcyli My daughter wears 28-29 in jeans but usually needs Med/large. Do these skirts run unusually large? Your waist measurements seem large.

prtco @marcyli Hi there! These unbutton and when laid out I measured it across the top. The large is 16" across the top of the waistband. So double that is 32". It hits higher up on your waist. The medium might work best for her. Please let me know if you have any questions.
