This is a true gem. Gunmetal/silver tone frame (there is no mark anywhere so I'm certain it is not sterling.) The beading is either marcasite or cut steel beads including the fringe. I have no certainty either way. The bag has an interesting geometric design all over and the inside is very delicate fine leather. Third pic shows the inside. Of course being as old as it is, there are some issues. There are a few loose threads and the frame is slightly bent off center. True vintage!

It looks like one of theirs but I can't find a single thing to prove it. Plus as far as I know their stuff is most generally always marked...? 😝 I wish I could get $450 out of it! Lol! ❤️

kb72shopper @hobbswife I didn't take the time to read all the comments, but I do have a small collection of antique purses. It isn't marcasite. It is steel cut beads. Long story, but very popular in the Industrial Age. If the purse is very light weight, they may be aluminum. In the early 1900s, aluminum was more expensive than gold since it was hard to make. Frame is most likely gunmetal and not silver.

hobbswife @kb72shopper Well hello there. Yes you are right it is not silver - just silver tone. The bag is actually quite heavy so definitely not aluminum. Yes I have several others as well as I am sort of hung up on finding these little treasures. Lol! I guess you could say I understand the ‘fever’.
