justjackets @jcall297 So a medium could be a size 40 but he could also be a size 38 or a 42. And Blazers and Sport Jackets usually come in Short Reg or Long lengths depending how long your torso is. Because it is a fairly substantial investment I would recommend trying on a few jackets at a local department store to see what size he is most comfortable in. Hope this helps. Blessings, Elaine
