This adorable vintage wedding set is 14K gold with a 0.15 carat diamond. The solitaire diamond engagement ring has a prong setting with tiny gilded flowers surrounding it on the band. The wedding band has the same gilded flowers adorning the band along with delicate cutouts on the top. It's been professionally cleaned and has the signature of the original jeweler inside (very common for vintage and very cool!). Both rings are 5.25 size and sold as a set. Make an offer! ππππ

@gazelled it was one of the wedding sets my grandmother had. She loved jewelry and had a lot! I wish this fit me, since it's so gorgeous!

@kelloggmelinda yes! I spoke to a jeweler about it and he said it was possible to add gold to the band at the bottom and get it sized up!

@a_la_bode I think itβs beautiful and I would love to buy it. It would not cost near $1000 in todayβs prices, though. Are you willing to go much lower on price? If so, please text me offer. I would not split up the set. Thank you, π Grace

@lunarophelia I accidentally clicked your name. :) Itβs beautiful for sure, but I agree w/ everyone that itβs overpriced.

Very lovely! Way too expensive for the size of the diamond. I do love it. My finger is at least a 7.5. I buy size 8 usually.

I would very much like to own this set. It reminds me of my grandmothers rings that were stolen by one of my daughters friends. I just canβt scrape up $1000.00 right now.
Apr 09Reply

babytalk12
I agree seems overpriced for size of stones. I have my motherβs set, very similar. Are you sure itβs not a bit older from 1940 ish? Very pretty tho
Apr 13Reply

mjc13slc
@a_la_bode you can always take it to a jeweler and have them add gold to it to make it your size. I've done it before with rings.

Get it appraised by a legit jewler. People saying its overpriced, if it truley is vintage the price is right.

Love them but I donβt think they could be resized to a 4.5. I know they can enlarge rings but donβt know if they can make the smaller.

more than likely this ring is from before the Civil War Era. With a unique cut mining diamond from that Era. would be worth every penny even more if the diamond is original. I'm having one restored now with and they are having to reach out to jewlers across the U.S. and out of the country for the stones. You have a very beautiful historical treasure!!

kenzie_oaks
@a_la_bode would you be willing to let it go for $800 for the set? there is something about this ring I just keep coming back to look at it. me and my fiance is gonna soon be married and I've been doing ring shopping, out of ALL the rings I've looked at, this is the "glass slipper"!π

I have a set similar to this that were my grandmother's. She was married in 1936. She gave me them to me in the early 1980s. I treasured them so much. Although they were a size 6 and 2 sizes smaller than I wore then. I'm 73 now, and they fit me. Your rings are beautiful.
Nov 26Reply

giovannachavez
Hello!! What size is the ring?
Nov 27Reply

bernice_roberts
@giovannachavez itβs 5.25 I just read the ring size too expensive for a small diamond.
Dec 02Reply

nanismamma61
@a_la_bode you can take it to the jewelry store. They size these vintage pieces. I had it done to a ring I purchased at a antique shop.
Dec 06Reply

mamasbowtique
So very pretty, and very odd itβs actually my size 5.5 , I will be sharing this with my hubby.

the gold is worth 200 at best the diamonds are fake right..
Dec 25Reply

linnybar
Your pricing is accurate if the gold and diamonds are real. People in the comments here should take a look at some jewelers that specialize in estate and vintage pieces. Iβve never been so irritated by a Poshmark comments thread lol ππ€¦π»ββοΈ hope you find the right buyer that appreciates this piece π
Dec 25Reply

kathyellis990
I had a set very similar to this one. the only difference is that mine had a few more tiny dimonds I had it appraised for just the gold and diamond that were in it and it was worth $1,000 however because it was made in the 1920s the jeweler told me antique value was a lot more. so stick to your price
