iclothes4u@iclothes4u Hi Iris, I just shared your beautiful closet and I have shared it in other groups too. I was wondering if you can tell me how you get such gorgeous pictures of your items. I am having a hard time posting more items because I take so much time taking photos and I'm not a photographer. Can you give me some advise?

Oct 28Reply

midnight_iris@iclothes4u hi hon, thanks for the compliment, I try! 😊 Well, I'm not a photographer either, it also takes me time to post them. I bought some white cardboard paper to use as background, it makes the items pop. Also use an app called PIP Camera, to fix the lighting, contrast and color after I take the pictures. Other than this, internet helps a lot with stock pictures 😊

Oct 28Reply

iclothes4u@eyerisss Thanks for all the great advise. I will def check out PIPI Camera. On the stock pics from the internet, do you need permission to use them or do you tag with the original photo?

Oct 28Reply

midnight_iris@iclothes4u some of them might have copyright. I try to change it a bit, like put them in a collage or write something on top of it, just so I don't get in trouble. Since PM haven't forbbiden it yet should be ok

Oct 28Reply

iclothes4uThat is a great idea!! Thanks again for all of your help! It will make my closet look better and hopefully increase my sales as I try to grow my boutique too!! Have a great weekend. 😘😘

Oct 28Reply

lovedandkuratedHi Iris - I just wanted to introduce myself since we have been sharing each other's closets for weeks now =). I LOVE it when your tagged and I share your items - because your closet is GORGEOUS! Cheers & Smiles - Kay

Nov 01Reply

midnight_iris@lovedandkurated hi Kay, nice 'meeting' you! 😊 Thanks for reaching out, you also have a great closet and what gorgeous items! Wish you a prosperous November with lots of sales! 😉😊🌻

Nov 01Reply

supercute4uHi there! I have a question I'm needing help with❤️ How do I find the pics of models wearing some of the items I'm listing? I.e., I've tried searching by the brand and style no. and I've only had luck with one dress. Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks so much!!! 💗💗💗

Nov 12Reply

midnight_iris@supercute4u hi hon, I so the same thing. Just browse the internet. Try instead of model number or style search with key words like "j.crew green ruffle top" or "adidas black Capri leggings"

Nov 12Reply

supercute4u@eyerisss , thank you so very much for the tip!!! ❤️

Nov 12Reply

lizabeth814Hi!!! I hate to bother you..... I’m co-hosting my first posh party in February. They’ve emailed me the guidelines twice and the darn thing is just not opening. Are you able to tell me what the guidelines are? I appreciate it very much!!! My party is February 3rd at 3:00 eastern time.

Nov 13Reply

moodtherapyYour closet is seriously amazing. I am curious, how do you find all your stock photos of clothing that you sell? I have been able to randomly find some by searching in google but many times I’m not exactly sure how to word the search. Any advice u can give would be appreciated. Also do u mind if I post a similar game in my closet as your share 100?

Dec 01Reply

midnight_iris@moodtherapy hi hon, I also use Google search for the stock photos. I type the brand name and a few descriptive words about the style of the item. (Exmp. Free people fray distressed jeans). I'm not always lucky but most of the time works. Of course you can do a 'share 100' game too, and good luck with that. 😊

Dec 01Reply

moodtherapy@eyerisss wow that’s awesome. I’m still kind of newto selling clothing. I’ve always sold my handmade jewelry but wanted to broaden my horizons and start to offer more. I’m sure I’ll probably get better at wording for the search on google eventually, lol. Tysm for your help!

Any time that is good for you, I will make work. I too live in Georgetown. Just let me know if you’re willing to and I’ll send you me phone number. I am asking you because of your obvious success with the app. Thank you a million times, Nikki
