2 MORE DAYS AND THE CASTS COME OFF! WOOT!! 💚💚My precious baby boy will go into surgery TODAY for multiple procedures on his heel chords and adductors. He will be in thigh casts with a removable T bar for 6 weeks. His PT, Ortho, and myself all agree that he has the ability to one day walk or we wouldn't be doing this. I'm very scared but know this is the best thing for him. Please, all of the prayers sent up are greatly appreciated. Thank you!🙏🙏💙💙💛💛💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏

heavensparadise@mandapanda83 Aww!! Thanks for the newest picture of Grey. I know he will walk one day. I wish my Rachel still was able too!! She use to be able to walk a little in high school. She had a medical emergency and was not able to afterward. She is working hard to walk again. I'll add a picture of her walking in her pool about 3 weeks ago. She hasn't had aqua therapy since then due to her recent bout with bronchitis. She's on antibiotic #3. Been a tight couple of weeks.

mandapanda83I've fought so so so many docs... In the beginning NOBODY believed me! They put in his chart that I had was an overly worried and diagnosing mom... He is my youngest! It took me fighting doc after doc to get his first MRI at 8 months old... Then a fatal diagnosis.. I continued to fight to disprove that diagnosis! I'm tired of fighting... Prayers for your sister! platinummermaid@mandapanda83 He is doing really well cancer free with another scan in January. He has residual tumor in his brain but it has all been benign so far. I hear you loud & clear! Some days I came home from the hospital & I was just so mad at everything & everyone. How could this have happened? What did I do so wrong in life for my child to be punished? It was a very dark & self destructive path. But my baby needed me to be strong, so that's what I was. As mom's we really don't get another choice. 💗

mandapanda83@retrouvailles Thank you! My son was first diagnosed with a fatal brain disease called Leukodystrophy but I continued to prove them wrong! The specialist we flew to see reviewed his MRI's and said it was CMV. As a result he has CP. I KNOW he will walk and talk, just on his own time! Thank you for your inspirational comment!!!
