@marynmathison hi- sorry for taking so long to reply- I was out all day. The actual waist of the dress is about 32", and the hip is about 40". My hips are a bit smaller than that and it draped nicely. The is a kick pleat in the front of the dress that will give you a little extra room in the hips if you need it.
