michallea @robinlyns hi there. Sorry just seeing this. It just depends on the lighting. In the first photo, they are in natural light. But in later photos, the flash is used in lower light which adds a bit of color/contrast to the boot. But I'd say overall they are the lighter color which you mentioned.
