@2edgy on the jeans laying flat, 26's measure 14.5" and the 27's measure 15". I am a 26 waist and the 26's fit. These are meant for a loose fit. Just FYI. They are soooo stinking cool!!

@dupske26 are there any stretch in the waist, at all, if not, I usually wear a 15.5 with stretch I can do 15. So I'm looking at at least a 27, but if I go to the 28, I know they will be too baggy in the butt, LOL

@2edgy The 28's measure 15.5" waist and across the back pockets measures 19" across laying flat. There is not much stretch to these.

@dupske26 oh here we go girlfriend, the waist sounds perfect in the 28, but I've never worn 28's, before in my life, usually 26/27, so I'm wondering if they would have a real baggy bum for this tiny patootie of mine? I know you can't really answer that, just talking out loud, LOL ๐ฌ

@dupske26 I don't blame you, my friend, but does the butt look on the smaller side average or larger side, in the 28th? U Know I hold you to nothing! I would have to have that size for the waist. Considering I'm kind of small, my waist is just a smidge larger. 50 something love handles and it's 5 o'clock somewhere 2 glasses of wine, happy hour-day I! The two combined, hence: larger waistline ๐

@2edgy oh Lordy. Idk. You are as bad as my best friend Shaley LOL LOL. I would have to say it's average I mean they don't look huge but these aren't meant to be tight jeans. But I know what you mean you don't want to be totally swimming in the rear. My suggestion would be to measure a pair of your jeans that are the loosest in the seat area that you do wear and see how far off they are from 19" across pockets.

@dupske26 Well Cindy, I am simply sick! These are beyond FAB and I'd wear all ways. With, without suspenders and even suspenders hanging down, per the one pic - but as I measured across my rear pockets, most are 17 - 17.5". :( And the ones that would fit me around the waist are 19" across. :( If there were "stretch" in the waist, I could do the 27's.

@2edgy I just had a thought... With these having the suspenders and you already said the inseam will be long on you you may find you may be adjust a bit where they hit waist wise by adjusting suspenders since you're only 1/2" from usual fit ?? Just a thought I am not influencing you here๐ค

@dupske26 You are exactly right - that would give more flexibility and wiggle room when wearing the suspenders (which I'd def do) but still prob move button over because I love the look of them with the suspenders hanging down, as well. My sweet friend, I know I know, you aren't influencing me, you're just trying to help & make suggestions since you know I LOVE them SO much! I do think the 27 would be my best option. Did you say you tried the 26 on and how do they fit you in bum & hips?

@dupske26 0' I keep thinking of ?'s - this is a new concept for me, lol! Are the suspenders adjustable at all? If not that is something else to consider, if they aren't "just so" for the torso, they could be too tight or loose. 0' I hope there is an adjustment. I'm not trying to talk myself "out of them" rather I'm trying to talk myself "into them" but all this extra fru fru stuff is good to know. ;)

@2edgy The 26's fit me loose in hip and across bumm and waist but do not fall off. I love the fit. I am in them in first pic, not the center pic of the 3 shits though, the two side pics. And yes I think IF you decide to give it a go, I'd do the 27's I think. Give me a second and I will run up and measure the other pair of 27's to just see if there's a variation you never know.

I think you are more tall & more tiny than myself. @2edgy You are going to freak!!!!!! The other 27 measures waist across back waist, laying flat 15 1/4". You can do these!!! Now you're talking 1/4" diff. And there would be room for you to move the button if you had to. Across bumm on 27's is 18" btw. And these are 100% cotton.

@dupske26 so I am seriously "freaking" yes ma'am - put those exact pair aside to ship as others might not measure than extra 1/4" and every little bit will help and with moving button over, I think I'd be good to go! Just 2 last ?'s - do you think I'll be ok with suspender length (since I'm a little shorter but do not really have a short torso tho - average to longer even maybe) and/or are they adjustable and just out of curiosity, I take it the "wash" is the shade that is on YOU!

@avathebulldog - I thought this could very well be for the "cas & wild side" of you, Christine. The inseam is a good & longer 31.5 - think they are great as pictured with a little heel showing. If you are serious, just ask Cindy for waist measurements to ensure your best fit. I got a 27, I am thinking prob the 28 for you maybe? Let me know if you get these - you won't be disappointed and there is nothing remotely out there on Posh like these! 0x

@avathebulldog well, they really do rock, and as Sandy, the seller, just sad, I'm obsessed-and I am! I guess you read all of my comments and she even posted my review in her 4th pic, LOL! I can tell you now, because of asking her, trying to decide on my size, the waist on the 28 is 15.5", if you have to go up to a 29, which I'm rather doubting, I don't know waist measurements beyond the 28. Probably just a little larger on the way though. Keep me posted ๐๐ผ๐

@dannic6 Sure. The 30's waist is 17". And these are totally adjustable if worn with the suspenders to put them a little higher on your waist or lower but if you did not wear the suspenders they're pretty much as shown in the photos. Hope that helps and makes sense๐๐

@dannic6 how big of a difference off, like a quarter of an inch or half-inch?? If it's a quarter of an inch I would do the smaller size if it's a half an inch or more probably the 30s. But the 29's across back pockets, across your bum, is 19" across, laying flat. Hopefully that will help your decision too. ๐

But I only have one size 30 so there is another gal interested in the 30s possibly, she wanted the measurements of the 30s so I may not have a 30 left if the 29 doesn't work because I do have two size 29 in stock. Ugh. I know it's hard to decide. But my gut wants to tell you if you are mostly 29 in jeans I would the 29, if you're more often a 30 in jeans, the 30s.

I sure do and both are not only killer pieces they are quality pieces from Cindy's @dupske26 boutique. She selects some very cool pieces and wouldn't sell what she wouldn't wear. Didn't respond earlier, was with Dad to another Dr. appointment then we had lunch, then I ran a couple of errands. I need to rest them this weekend. Haven't had much eye-rest since surgery. SO HAPPY you can sport those suspenders, YAY! and I got the other color - I'd highly recommend the color. Cindy calls it Oatmeal. Did you get the S or M?

@avathebulldog it seriously looks like oatmeal not just plain cream or ivory. Love it! Beautiful shade as well as just loving the sweater so much in itself. In my opinion, Cindy chooses the "best retail pieces" unlike some others. I have almost quit buying retail but expect from Cindy. Cindy is an exception in all ways, anyway, in my book!

@julzz3 Inseam is is 32.5" not 31.5" sorry about that. Typo because they're long enough on me and i am tall and I thought to myself wait a minute this can't be 31 1/2 so just remeasured they're actually 32 1/2 but if you need 33 still won't probably work.

I highly recommend, upside down, inside out & back-and-forth & sideways! There is one size 26 left, I'm sure you are that tiny, for that size. Hope you do not need smaller. So much you can do with these and even wear the suspenders hanging down for a different edge

So it's not like it was workie workie and an unpleasant weekend, but none-the-less busyness that still tires me after awhile. Today is the dentist at noon, wrap a sale b4 that, PO after dentist, then a big time grocery shopping spree.
