It's many fake palettes on here so I wanted to show you guys how to tell the difference. The 1st picture, left is fake, real on the right. The fake one is slightly bigger and the lettering is smaller. The 'bronze' color around it is off. The shadows inside might look the same, but swatch totally different. So this is just a few things to look at and keep in mind. !edit- in pic 4 the real one w the serial # the fake don't have it.

dejabear @lizabeth814 look in pic 4, ull see the numbers clearly on the back of the 2nd palette. It says 16... something. Unless u have bad eyes n can't see it

dejabear @lizabeth814 lol! My eyes r bad at night. So I feel ya! But yes, the fake look so real and I think the fake ones now have the serial # on it, but it's not etched in, it's like a stamp looking number

mcjayne @dejabear this makes me so upset! Did you know, they did a chemical analysis of the fake Kylie lipsticks, and they contain glue???😳 we don't know what they put in these, and china uses a ton of chemicals that are banned here, they are known carcinogens in some! Urgh.

dejabear @mcjayne yes! It's so scary! I saw on YouTube ppl using the fake palettes n getting eye infections. And they are pumping these palettes out do quick! It's a so many other palettes I'm gonna post on here tonight as reference for some ppl. I like to buy the China ones to keep as reference so I know. They even have the fake Lorac 3 out now!!

dejabear @mcjayne pus, another thing that annoys me is when I see a seller w a million of the same palettes for way under retail and they say they bought it 'factory blemish'. It's like what!? There's no such thing!

mcjayne @dejabear I am so glad you are posting this for people! It's sad how many ladies think that if it looks like the real thing, then it must be close...so wrong! The pigment is full of dangerous metals, glue, talk, formaldehyde...thank you for being such a great makeup seller, I love finding ladies who do it RIGHT. You rock!

candi_luis Oh what I think I just bought a fake palette..... It didn't have the name of the shadows on the back, no serial number, not anything and it was going for 14$ and I was all happy because it's my first time buying a Kylie palette but I done goofed. I'm so upset and I can't get a refund so do any of you ladies know how or who I could talk to to get my money back because I don't see the point in buying a fake palette if it's going to look off and swatch differently
