@sdolan1 hello! Great question:) material is Body' 100% polyester. Contrast - 82% nylon, 18% lycra spandex. Lining - 100% polyester. I would say you could wear it running, but it is also designed for a great all around jacket. Very stylish. I hate to depart with it, but just don't hardly wear it, due to too many jackets:)
