Hi! I try to circulate my stuff often to bring handpicked quality pieces to for your fashion life. I'm fighting a chronic liver disease, and need a transplant. So I'm selling to pay medical bills. I’ve been fighting since 2013, I’m tired but not giving up. I do model all, size is as marked. I use dress clamps on larger sizes to show shape. I accept all reasonable offers, bundles, no trades. arcross82@iamwarrior have to get a mri and liver biopsy. Double checking for lesions or cancer. Started blood work and tests to reapply for transplant list. I’m trying to decide if I’m going to drop $ fairly low just to move most my stuff out and have extra money. Then be low key or put closet on hold till I’m getting better. I’m sorry about your news. You’re in my prayers.

arcross82It’s the first time in 6 weeks I wasn’t minion yellow, and feeling at deaths door. I’ve been in the Er at least 1x a week for the last 6 weeks. I was really bad the day before, I doubled meds and it cleared for a brief day. I’m back to iffy condition as I can’t dbl up often. Thank you for the support. I’ve been in bed all day. Just getting around to checking posh.

I’ll keep you in my prayers for a easy surgery and quick recovery. I’m in a boot myself. I was weak, and my foot snapped, I broke my heel, tendons are damaged, but no surgery. If I’m too weak, like falling walking and breaking my heel they’ll hold my status at pending longer. I told them I tripped over something. Truth, didn’t feel my foot fall asleep, and crushed it when I took a step. 🙄😬

arcross82@slp322 I’ll share back in am. Right now I want to cry. My veins are collapsed. 10 sticks today to fill lab vials. I gained 6 lbs and raised my strength 2 points, but my meld score went up. I’m dancing on the line of not being to have a live donor. Not enough healthy tissue to attach to. Deceased donor is hard for a 35 yo that’s the size of a 14yo. Most organs are too big or go to kids at my size. I’m trying to stay positive. Praying for your surgery too.

arcross82@lsls7 @slp322 Hi!! I’ve had a bumpy few weeks. I have to be put through a bunch of tests to update everything. So I’m going to work on getting caught up today. And putting my closet on hold for about a week because I’ll have a hard time juggling everything. Especially when I do CT, I’m allergic to iodine, so they have to drug me up to do the test so my reaction is mild. That alone takes me out for 2 days. 💚💚

Most the time I handle everything ok, it’s just been really touch n go lately. I’m waiting for the allergy stuff to wear off, then getting caught up, by tomorrow night I’m going to put on hold.

arcross82@creative_te yep me too but they just took all meds so I’m in the full force of health, pain, insomnia...and ER on speed dial. I’m like really all meds, my body doesn’t work!!! I’m in full liver failure, kidneys started failing yesterday and I shot up on transplant list so I’m a lil scared. Posh is helping keep my mind off it all.

arcross82@winewonka44 I just saw this one. I’m sorry to hear about your mom. It’s a cruel disease. It shuts down the entire body as you well know from your mother. The only reason I’m alive is I’m considered young to be in liver failure, and I’m one stubborn fighter. If I listened to Drs, and gave up I wouldn’t have lived to see 32. In November I’ll be 36 😊💪🏼💚💪🏼(I was diagnosed just before my 31st birthday)

I was a makeup artist for years, so I’ve gotten pretty good at disguising my illness. When I can’t hide it I wear big sunglasses. Lol. My pics are ridiculous!!😂😂 but I imagine being there rather than in pain on the couch...so I have fun with background locations!!! I travel the world from my living room!!!

I’m in the beginning stages of what could be a chronic liver disease...I was unable to afford therapy the first year 1/2 I saw symptoms of severe kidney stones/ auto immune deficiencies that have never went away. I resonated with your explanation of posting the pictures you do so much though. I live mostly isolated at home and always think about all the beautiful places I’d rather be. Liver is so hard, not that any organ is easy, the liver controls every function of the body so when something is wrong everything is wrong. dmitten52@arcross82 Absolutely! It totally brightened my day! I still don’t know what exactly I have yet. The most likely diagnosis so far seems like PBC which would be a transplant in the future. Right now though on my last liver scan I was still early stage with some liver damage and for now it’s not flaring at the moment since they took out the ducts that were structured. I lost my gallbladder to the issues first.

dmitten52@arcross82 I was in the hospital. Very jaundiced, unbearable fevers, and vomiting constantly. I was like that for four months. I am not sure yet what liver issues you’re going through, but from my experience so far, what I know of it, it was literally the worst thing I ever felt I experienced. I was ready for someone to just end my misery. And like you I lost a ton of weight too. I went from a healthy 120lbs and full time athlete to barely being able to walk and skin and bones.

dmitten52@arcross82 I am still going through the jaundice/weight issues, trying to work on my walking, but I hope for now I’ll stay stable. You’re right when you say the liver affects so much. It really does, but most people don’t really learn until they know someone or go through it themselves. Either way, my heart goes out to you deeply and if you ever need anything, even a friend, I always love to make a new friend. Life in illness can get pretty lonely.

arcross82@dmitten52 yep, same here. I was in the hospital a solid 6 months at first, and in and out, mostly in the hospital for that whole year, I walked with a cane or I’d fall. It’s 5 almost 6 years later, liver keeps falling back to worse. Now on the scar tissue (cirrhosis) nodules are forming which is the onset of cancer. I don’t have full blown cancer yet, it’s always been a matter of time. Time keeps creeping closer. I have a autoimmune blood disease that doesn’t help things. 🤷🏻‍♀️

arcross82@dmitten52 Oh man it gets lonely sometimes being stuck home sick. Then people forget to include you in things. They’re always like oh, I thought you’d be too sick to go. I’m like well at least invite me and let me decide how sick I am. 😁 I totally understand you, and have too many years of dealing with it. I can help or answer questions if you ever have any. Look up a book”Eat Fat, Get Thin” it has good healthy fats to add not for weight loss for us but to get enough of it to not atrophy more.

To be honest I have learned that I found friends during this in the most of unlikely places and It really makes you appreciate the ones you have who do stick by. You got a good one here :) I can tell she’s very supportive! Most of my friends disappeared when I got sick. I’d never hear from anyone, even while in the hospital. It was really hard at first but I feel I’m getting better at dealing with it

I also ended up with hypoglycemia that just started recently too. I think because my body is no longer absorbing or storing fats. May I ask? What condition you are going through?

This month was actually the first month in two years I haven’t spent a day in the hospital because I’ve spent most of the last two years and I have something similar, problems with autoimmune, immune deficiency, and I ended up with a virus though that caused the perfect storm. Epstein Barr. Which I’m sure you’ve heard of?

arcross82@dmitten52 yep ugh. Sorry you’re going through all that. In 5 years I don’t think I’ve ever had a full month w/out being in the hospital. Mine was a perfect storm too. My biggest hurdle most days is making sure I take meds right to process everything. Otherwise my body poisons it’s self. And I get temporary dementia. It’s from toxic levels of ammonia build up.

I’ve been going through these episodes of feeling out of it. Basically I feel extremely drunk, can’t really function, I am too tired to walk or see and can’t think straight, but I haven’t drank in 2 years+. When they tested my levels I had high urea and Uric acid, but the doctors never say it’s an issue.

arcross82@dmitten52 I almost died at the beginning of June from it!! What?! No if you’re out of it that’s not good. It means your ammonia levels to high. Having that disoriented “drunk” is a side effect. Next time you feel that way tell Dr, ask for labs to check ammonia, and see if you can start taking lactulose. It’s gross syrupy liquid, but it’s the only thing that soaks up the ammonia and gets it out. Ugh. I wish you could have my drs. They’re top in the nation.

dmitten52@arcross82 thank you for sharing this! Where do you see your doctors? I got to a liver unit in Phoenix. We had been trying to figure out what’s causing it for months now. We had pretty much given up hope of trying to figure it out though. No one had any answers. I just knew it wasn’t normal. It can last a few hours to all day and sometimes I wouldn’t feel better until I just went to sleep and the next day I’d feel normal again finally when it seemed to kind of just wear off over time.

Dr Wieland is the GI, Pompaselli and his wife are the transplant surgeons. You’re on the cusp of this region. Lovers go by region. You can contact your ins and see if you can get a referral to Wieland. She’s amazing. Love her and her staff.

arcross82@dmitten52 you’re not. Look up hepatic encephalopathy that’s the technical name. You’ll see it’s exactly what you have going on. The only way to treat it is a medicine called lactulose. Don’t do any liver cleanses either. It gets rid of toxins yes. But for a liver patient it gets rid of the bad and the good.

Then if you don't hear anything in 2 business days, you have to call them. HIPAA laws prevent them from pursuing you. The person wanting to be a donor has to do all follow up. arcross82@mcjayne thank you!! The only thing anyone can do is to fill out the online donor thing for me specifically and then keep calling after it’s been received. Because of HIPAA laws they have strict guidelines on contacting people wanting to be a donor.

I had 2 sales go out a cpl weeks ago. Turns out someone at one of the postal plants stole them. Posh reimbursed me and the buyer. 😉

arcross82@seriouslyviolet it’s a formula your labs are entered into to give the MELD (Model for End Stage Liver Disease) it ranges from 6-40. They consider transplant at 15, I was 32 when I was listed. 40 is well dead. I’ve been holding at 23-26. It won’t get better, only worse over time.

arcross82Over 34, you’re placed inactive on list, too sick to accept transplant. I’ve been there 3x in the last year. When 23-26, I get more ppl ahead of me. That’s why I’m looking for living donor. You’re at deaths door for a deceased donor to be your donor.

Drinking was one of the many things in the storm that made my liver fail. I self medicated after escaping narrowly from Domestic Violence. The saying " you never know untill you walked in their shoes" is so true, for I always thought I was stronger than allowing what I did. Not because of me, but because it would threaten your health and well-being. Contrary to myth that they just take people’s organs to save someone, they won’t put anyone in harms way. My own brother can’t be a donor for that reason also. He had a over active nerve in his heart. They fixed it. But still won’t let him because of possible risk. 😍

My story is not as life/death as yours, but I lived w/o hope for most of it. In some ways, that can be worse than death. But after 2 years of having donors lined up and falling through because of the red tape....I’m trying my hardest to get as healthy as possible, praying it’s enough to work into me being a true miracle and not needing to transplant to stay alive. Getting fit is the next step I’m taking toward that direction. I still have 6 years of hospital bills to pay off too.

We live 8 hours from any family and had to move to New Orleans while we were waiting and after his transplant. I don't wanna be a downer but things have not gone well for Rush. We came home from NOLA 6 weeks ago and he is now being cared for by hospice. Our choice...You have to know when enough is enough. Love to you Alicia

cheekywitch79Hey girly tell me more about how the process works. I have type O- but I do have a lesion on my liver. Not sure which lobe but it’s benign. I work in the surgical Dept and understand how a transplant works. My question is do you know the recover time for the donor and the cons for the donor? Who pays travel?

arcross82@cheekywitch79 thx for asking. Donor is released in a few days, recovery time is just the incision healing. Bout 6 weeks. Liver regrows in 3-6 mo. But with lesion of any kind I don’t they’ll allow you to for your sake Incase you do get sick.

lolas_boutique_She has 4 very young kids but I will help however possible if she’s a match. She’s 25 yrs old very healthy. She wanted to give my mom a kidney but my mom didn’t make it . She passed before Brooke became of age to donate.

I’m O+ I was diagnosed and not expected to live a month in Feb 2014, I was listed in 2016, and I’m fighting hard to try and fully overcome this. I’m light years better than I was, but I’m told the day will come that I’ll have to transplant ASAP. So I’ve put it in Gods hands. 😊 I’m now 37, it all happened shortly after turning 30. I’ll tag you in the listing w/info.

arcross82@angidabartender I did have surgery I had a 20lb ovarian tumor. To keep from having full blown cancer that and several small ones were removed. Also a full hysterectomy and appendectomy. Then in September I had a stroke and a small repeat one. Then I made the mistake of listening to my mom beg me to get her cat out of the tree. With my equilibrium off from all that health junk I fell 8+ feet broke/crushed my back shoulder n collarbone

OMG, I wish you were right here so that I could grab you and give you the BIGGEST hug ever (VERY gently, of course) it sounds like they did a debulking, so, did they leave part of the cancer? Will you have chemo? If I’m being too inquisitive, please tell me. I have a dear friend that went through that.
