profashionalnyc @truedesign Posh has deleted a lot of the comments they have posted in my closet. Thank goodness because they were tagging people in my Suggested User Listing. I removed my payment information just in case because this is still very fresh & don't know what other tricks these people have up their sleeves. All we can do now I report, block, and wait. @pm_editor I think all accounts starting with PMark...should just be deleted. And the IP address is 162.255.119.54

By the 4th time I got tagged, I just had to delete all my payment methods & I took a screenshot of my Posh Balance/Credit. Lol I hope it's all unnecessary but I'm too nervous to take that risk. I reported the website to the Google Safe Browsing Team as a Phishing site. It's hard enough as it is around the holidays. No one should have to deal with a bunch of losers trying to steal their personal information.

profashionalnyc @rozell I didn't visit the site. After I got tagged I looked up the site info & it was just made yesterday. You should definitely change the password to the email you entered if you had to log into anything on that site. If all you did was enter an email, you're most likely just going to get spam mail like crazy. Usually these people get paid to provide companies with a certain amount of emails to spam. If your email was a gmail account, google does a great job filtering out your spam.

athena_777 I'm being harassed by these people. The first time I was tagged in someone's post a few days ago and I called them out on it. I knew it wasn't legit and I wasn't going to follow a fake link. Ever since then, I've had at least 6 fake accounts follow me and add the same message to my listings and I've had to report it ever time and block them. It's ridiculous.

mk4 From the minute I got them I knew they were spam, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one getting these annoying messages! mk4 Unfortunately since you can hide behind a screen I don't think we will ever get rid of this plague! But I hope Posh is doing what's necessary to protect our information. If target and so many other companies have gotten hacked I don't see why it wouldn't happen here. Sadly. I just keep blocking them and reporting them.

I had a feeling that it was a scammer message since it a no no to tag so many people at once, according to poshmark rules; so when I saw they were tagging manyyyy people on their messages, I had a feeling that something was not right so I didn't go to that website. I actually looked it up on google and one of the first things or words that I saw was SCAM! I'm terrified now, I've already contacted poshmark, this is something serious happening!

50andageless Unfortunately, i fell for it. I had been waiting for something to happen. It did not, till Thursday. When i tried to look at news, it said the website (i know huh, its an app) did not have certification. Tried cancel, didnt work. Uninstalled and reinstalled many times to no avail. Had to reset my phone to factory settings. After hours of trying to figure it out, resetting was my only option. Hope this helps. Cant believe i fell for it #÷$%/*£.÷* 😕

I have taken the better side of 2 hours to search (within Poshmark search) for these spammers... to report and block each and every one of them! And even now in all my effort I see that they are still on Poshmark and it doesn't appear that these closets (spammers) are being removed! I dont understand... what is the problem with just removing the closets period, thus then would actually protect our real closets (Poshers)?

I decided when I first joined that I would never leave my payment information on the site just in case! What I truly don't understand however, is why Poshmark can't just delete the scammers closets (for I know they have in the past kicked ppl off for not following the rules) so, why not for scammers. Something just doesn't seem right with it all!

Also I've been having issues with my Posh App since it happened. I get a pop up that says Posh has an invalid Certification. But I always click cancel instead of continue because idk what the hell that's about. My notifications come in code, so I can't see anything. Literally using the website now.

What is going to happen to those people who actually believed this? Let's be honest and give answers to the people that you take commission from selling on your site. I can even check my notifications. There is always a pop up that says "This website has an invalid certification". I click cancel instead of continue, and everything comes up in code. theresad23 @yukobayashi2012 That's how Poshmark works, it sends notifications of a party when it stars so if we are interested in some brands we can join the party, and it also help us to sell when a party starts we can share ours items to this party and sell. If you don't want receive this invitations and notifications just delete your account. I was confused when I started but now I know that that's how Poshmark is.

jaesha1 It appears the scammers are using real names now. It will look like genuine posh user, but you will know it's not because they tag 25 poshers and post a spam comment on a legitimate users item. The social aspect of Poshmark appears to be back firing. The fake users haven't gone through the verification process. Simply don't allow anyone to post unless they have actually gone through the sign up process. This is fixable if you guys would pursue it. It looks likes things are simply getting worse.

singinglynnie @pm_editor is it normal to have a ton of newbies (w/ less have 25-40 followers) start following you, asking tons of questions, buy your items and then after you've sold fantastic products, shipped same/next day, beautifully packaged w/ a note, them leave 1 star and blame you for usps shipping time?? They have been delivered since I then and even tho they didn't rate I still got paid after the 3 days. 👍🏻

bopbopgirl1 @dolphingirlz35 when a party starts a notification should pop up asking you to join however that will just bring you to the showroom so you can look around. If you want to share your items (that match the party theme) to the party just go to your closet clicked the share button on an item and it will have an option to share to the party or share to your followers, just select the party one 😊

Mine went thru after I changed them but yeah some people's won't share to party even if changed...I tried yours and could share it to my followers only. It says error but if it has a specific category it gives a different message that it doesn't fit party guidelines. I'm hoping someone will read this and be able to fix!

rmarlar333 PM just wanted to ask if there jas been another update on this? Upon (searching the find people) there still appears to be closets within the Poshmark app that have the span/scam link listed! The point I found interesting and kind of even scary, is that some now even have what looks like a picture of a real person vs just the PM logo! I do report each of those closet ! Update please? I'm shocked these people are marking them NWT and for a couple to few hundred dollars, marked from originally, say, 1500. Some are even claiming their NWT luxury bags as authentic and using stolen pictures. I think there should be Poshmark monitors.

lifeinstiches Help I my closet is temp. closed & I am on overload of fake acts from men & my cc has been hacked 2x. In the last 48hrs I have had an overwhelming amount of men follow me approx 300.
