mandajoan1Gorgeous closet!! 💕

Jan 02Reply

retrocollective@mandajoan1 Thank you! ☺️ I was just looking at yours, great job and that hand dyed trapeze slip! The color looks amazing 😍

Jan 02Reply

mandajoan1@bethriftychic oh thank you!! Took me a couple tries, but it's finally perfect!

Jan 02Reply

mandajoan1@bethriftychic I'm bummed the seller disclosed there's a whole piece of lace that's not original. I mentioned it in comments. But other than that, it's super cute!

Jan 02Reply

retrocollective@mandajoan1 I saw that! That really sucks. I wish all sellers were up front and honest. You still managed to make it beautiful though 👍🏻🎉 if I see a good deal on a cream or white slip I might snatch it up and give it a try! I've dyed lots of clothes but never a slip. I dont have the guts to risk my cream trapeze slip! lol I would need to get one specifically for dying purposes

Jan 02Reply

mandajoan1@bethriftychic exactly!!! That's why I bought this one. And it was $20!! The only way I'll pay over $30 for a tea or white is if it's in pristine condition! If not, I'll dye it haha

teddypug4@kelleysthreads GREAT closet 😍 Thanks! Hope you're doing well!💕

Jan 04Reply

retrocollective@jeaninelorenzo Do you mean aurapolish? Did you have a bad experience with her?

Jan 05Reply

retrocollective@jeaninelorenzo oh wow! I just peeked at your page at the jacket and saw all the comments. Such a great deal for a Free People jacket too! Im so sorry that happened to you. It sucks when people take the fun out of posh by being dishonest! Thanks for letting me know

Jan 05Reply

retrocollective@jeaninelorenzo Omg and now she's trying to sell it in the middle of a claim?! That is so wrong. Because if her claim does go through posh would send her a label to ship the item back to you! Sometimes they refund both buyer and seller and the buyer gets to keep the item but that is rare. Normally they send it back, and that's only if the claim is even approved. I hope posh catches her in time before she sells it!

Jan 05Reply

retrocollective@jeaninelorenzo I hope so too. It looks like she took the listing down for the jacket. Fingers crossed that everything works out positively for you! Thank you for the warning, I certainly won't be purchasing anything from that closet. I wish you all the best!

Jan 06Reply

cmf2015You have a fantastic closet

Jan 06Reply

retrocollective@cmf2015 thank you so much! ☺️

Jan 06Reply

lauramichelle26@jeaninelorenzo I was reading this thread, and not trying to be nosy or anything, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am that you're having to deal with this. That is not what posh is about. I feel, at least so far, that the poshmark community is supportive and welcoming. Of course there's always going to be some people, which really sucks!! I'm glad I read this thread and I'll be sure not to do business with that person...

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@jeaninelorenzo ...sorry I ran out of room. So continuing here. (Lol). Best of luck and I hope Poshmark resolves this for you quickly and fairly. If she's not sending the jacket back, then you deserve the money!! Anyway, again, sorry to be nosy! 😬

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26I wanted to tell you that you have a superb and fantastic closet! 😁

Jan 07Reply

retrocollective@lauramichelle26 Thanks so much! And Thanks for all all the love in my closet. You have some really nice items in your closet too!

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic Aw, thank you!!! I plus some items up on posh years ago and sold them. Life became so busy, I didn't stay up with it and add more. My house is being remodeled right now and I'm overly sentimental, therefore a clutterbug 😂, and really trying to work on it. My goal is to move back into my house with 50% of what I left with (and that doesn't include just clothes). I have 15 boxes and big plastic containers full of items I'll be posting. Sooo more to come!!!

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic And no need to thank me on the shares. I'm a firm believer in sticking together and helping each out as much as we can. Also, I was just noticing how you arranged your closet - in colors. I love it!! It flows nicely!!

Jan 07Reply

retrocollective@lauramichelle26 oh wow you have your work cut out for you! Good luck and I will be sure to come check it out when you post more!

Jan 07Reply

retrocollective@lauramichelle26 thank you! I originally had it sorted by style but the colors were everywhere and it was too chaotic for me so I decided to do the color thing. Thanks for the compliment!

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic I do have my work cut out for me! I've been trying to post at least 3 new items a day. I didn't however get any new items up yesterday or today, but tomorrow I plan to. I had a major leak in my house that's being remodeled and have water damage in ¾ of the house. Thank God it's empty and they'd only recently got the drywall up. But I've been dealing with that and planning a baby shower. I need to be cloned.

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic I have mine by items right now, but I was noticing how the colors are everywhere. I might try how you've gone about yours when I get more items up. I hope you don't mind. I just really love the flow of your closet.

Jan 07Reply

retrocollective@lauramichelle26 oh wow! I'm so glad it was empty! Is it your own baby shower or for a friend?

Jan 07Reply

retrocollective@lauramichelle26 I don't mind at all! Can't wait to see how it turns out 😊

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic yes, I'm glad it was empty too. However, my contractor is going to be a year behind by the time it's finished, so the setback had been incredibly disappointing.

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic Oh, and no, it's not my baby. (I wish! I love kids. Just need to find the right guy!) The baby shower is for my cousin, Emily. However, we don't consider ourselves just cousins, but sisters and best friends. I don't have a sister, only a brother, so I think of her as the sister I was never given.

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic I really want her baby shower to be fantastic. However, the months crept up on me. The shower is Jan 28 and I need to get the invitations out this weekend. 🙈😬. Luckily everyone has known the date for months.

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic thank you! Btw, it seems you're a night owl as well.

Jan 07Reply

retrocollective@lauramichelle26 aw that is so sweet, you're basically going to be an auntie! I bet your so excited. Good luck with the planning! And yes I am def an night owl, I blame posh lol! It's almost 4am here and my boyfriend keeps waking up like really you're still poshing?! Lol

Jan 07Reply

retrocollective@lauramichelle26 oh and thanks for your purchase on the tee! I hope you love it. I'm going to the post office around 11am so I will have it out to you then!

Jan 07Reply

lauramichelle26@bethriftychic haha. I know! If I'm swamped during the day, I lay in bed and watch tv and catch up on my feed. And yes! I'm going to be an auntie! I just hope she has the baby closer to her due date and not early or I will be out of town for work. I told her to keep her legs closed until March 2.😂. And I am excited to get the shirt!! It looks super cute!

Jan 07Reply

retrocollective@lauramichelle26 Hahaha you're too funny! I have fingers crossed hoping that you will get to be there for the big day!

Jan 23Reply

retrocollective@buddhasoul15 of course, no problem at all! You have some great listings. That Zeppelin jacket is a gem! Must be so hard to part with it !

Jan 23Reply

buddhasoul15I live in Florida and seriously NEVER wear it...just sits in my closet...needs a good home :)

Jan 23Reply

retrocollective@buddhasoul15 I understand that! I live in Texas and it's always so hot here although I think it's hotter in Florida lol! I'll keep sharing it so it can get out there more because it's too great, it should sell fast!

Jan 23Reply

buddhasoul15I'm pretty new to this site...things seem to sell so slow...i guess I'm used to Ebay...also, I'm new so not too many followers - i took a bunch of stuff off...any advise to the newbie ;)

Jan 23Reply

retrocollective@buddhasoul15 it does start off slow here, but it does get better. I've been here almost a year exactly, the best way to gain followers is to share! I like to search through the categories and narrow it to brands I like and just start sharing all the items! This will draw other poshers to your page to share your items and follow you. It also helps to follow a bunch of people, if you look at my page I'm following like 100k people, they don't all follow back but some do.

Jan 23Reply

retrocollective@buddhasoul15 sharing is the best option though, it brings the most attention. If you visit someone's page try to share at least 3 items from their page. I'm still trying to get my shares up, it can be time consuming. I've heard that sharing from the computer is easier and faster vs from your phone but I haven't tried it because I don't have a computer lol

Jan 23Reply

buddhasoul15awesome advise...thank you! I think this is a great idea..much better than Ebay...Really appreciate it! Found GREAT stuff...thank you again!!

retrocollective@andriamukai thank you so much! I spent months brainstorming and writing list upon list of ideas and finally came up with one I liked. I hope everyone else likes it too 😊

Apr 25Reply

retrocollective@andriamukai there isn't an official way to do it, however you can just go to the FAQ and go to contact Poshmark and send them a message explaining that you would like to change it! Tell them your current name and include what you want the new name to be

Apr 25Reply

retrocollective@andriamukai I just emailed them last night around 2AM and it was changed by today around 4PM so it didn't take long at all, just be sure that the name you pick is one you want to stick with because I believe they will only change it for you once

pursuedestanySorry if this has been mentioned above, I didn't read all the comments. But how were you able to change your closet @ name? I made my posh a long time ago and didn't start using till last august. But not fond of my name haha Thanks for your time and advice!

Apr 27Reply

retrocollective@desy_p Hi! There isn't an official way to do it in the app, however you can just go under your menu tab and go to poshmark support and then click contact poshmark. All you do is send them an email explaining that you would like to change your username. Include your current name and what you would like to change it to.

Apr 27Reply

retrocollective@desy_p Whatever you choose, be sure to do a user search and make sure it isn't taken already and that it is a name you want to stick with because I believe they will only change it for you one time. That's it! Super easy, I emailed them late at night and it was changed by 4pm the next day 😊

Apr 27Reply

carey_anne_1968How do you bookmark a closet?

Nov 13Reply

retrocollective@careyzanne Hi! There isn't an official way to bookmark a closet on posh. That's why I made this listing so that my followers can "like" it to save my closet in their likes to find me again later. Lots of poshers make their own bookmark listing, that way there is some kind of way to save their shop. I wish Posh would offer a bookmark or favorites section where you can save your favorite closets, that would be much easier because things tend to get pushed far down in your likes

Nov 13Reply

carey_anne_1968Thank you! Now It makes sense! 😊

Nov 13Reply

retrocollective@careyzanne you're welcome! If you decide to make a bookmark, put the price something super high like 500,000. I do this so that there's lots of room for price drops. When you lower the price of the listing by 10% it notifies everyone who liked it, I do this when I'm running a sale in my closet! It's an easy way to notify everyone who bookmarked

Nov 13Reply

carey_anne_1968Thank you for the tips! I appreciate it! ❤️
