I have this same pair of earrings....really pretty!! It's actually more likely a green onyx or a chalcedony. Chrome diopside doesn't come in this color. Best wishes for quick sale!

@gypsybelle20 have you held them to the light? I thought they were agates initially too but one time I was really looking at them and the light hit them and they were so green. You're probably right though, I don't think chrome comes that big and it would be clear. But I was surprised how green it was. Thanks for the info, I didn't think about chalcedony.

@pattycats2 I did, yes. Green onyx is still my best guess. They are beautiful, but definitely not diopside.
