@johosoho hi! It's a shell that is a ski jacket. When I wore it skiing, I usually just had a base layer and some sort of fleece lining and it's perfect. I'll attach another pic so you can see it on! It was 16 degrees out and it was great with the above mentioned normal layering for winter sports
