So my friend had a suspicious smelling lipkit & I quickly determined it wasn't real. She bought it on the internet. I wanted to do a little side by side comparison with one of my real lip kits so maybe it could help! These are my pictures I took so please ask before using them if you are going to repost ❤ The fake kit is Candy K & the real one I compared it to is Exposed. The boxes are slightly different sizes, the fake one is slightly shorter and slightly less thick. Continued in comments.. 🌸

dandelauryn 2. On the back of the box I saw a big difference! The words in the fake one are much closer to the bottom of the box. Also the "Kylie's Tips" section read differently.

dandelauryn 3. The inside of the caps were quite different as well. The real one is clear & has the little notches as you can see while the fake one is white and smooth.

dandelauryn 4. And lastly, the liners were completely different sizes! The real one is shorter & has a serial number while the fake one is longer & does not have a serial number. *NOTE, do not trust that just because the liner has a serial number it is real, I have heard there are fakes that have serial numbers on the liner as well.

briannavogt I have so many Kylie Jenner Cosmetic lip kits, along with the KyShadow palettes and I never buy any of her stuff other than her website. The best thing is to just buy from her actual website because you're probably paying the same or more for a fake one.

briannavogt @dandelauryn Girl, so am I!! So many people are trying to copy her stuff which I completely understand because she made over 20 million dollars within the first year of Kylie Cosmetics. It gets crazy and I tell everyone who is thinking about buying her stuff is to NEVER get it online besides her actual website because 99% of the time it will be fake if you don't.

I've heard that's a sure way to tell if it's fake or not because none of the dupes have those notches. But that's just me 🙈
