houseofowl @jozerodstylist um.. my biggest struggle is networking and mingling with people in the industry. I'm such an introvert - I get pretty anxious when I have to attend party. I ended up just sat down in the corner and started watching people.

universalhuman @houseofowl NYC is more high fashion but Chicago is more commercial. Chicago is great to make money but creativity runs is small pockets. Combining both is perfect for your bread and butter. I love both cities though. NYC is pretty amazing for fashion designers. It's close to Europe and a lot of people in the industry work there.

houseofowl @jozerodstylist good to know :) I used to live in NYC from 2009-2013, went to FIT and worked.as personal stylist... I love the fashion there, but after a while, the city is becoming too much for me. I'm not sure if I'll be able to love in such crowded city. Plus the cost of living is super high...couldn't afford to do anything fun that I wanted.
