ianthe37 Pretty! What's the inseam and waist laying flat?

gypsythrift22 @ianthe37 💎thank you! I'll get those measurements to you ASAP.

gypsythrift22 @ianthe37 The waist is 14" flat. It is made of stretchy yoga material. I added a pic so you can view the waistband which is worn folded down (or up over a pregnant tummy 😊) The inseam is 25.5" pedal-pusher length 💎 just pulling these out to measure them makes me second guess selling them. I appreciate your interest, and will leave them for sale for now. Might eventually alter these to fit my current size and keep them 🌷

ianthe37 @gypsythrift22 Thanks so much! the measurements sound like a small. I'm a size 4 so I'm wondering if they would fit.

gypsythrift22 @ianthe37 Yes, they would fit you beautifully. I was a 4-6 when they fit me. 😕So sorry, but Im having a little crisis over these and am considering removing them from my Posh closet. I've marked them unavailable so I can think for a day or two. I still super love them and am suddenly sad to part with them. Sorry for this. I will decide soon and will tag you if/when they are available. I also have old pictures to show how they fit.

gypsythrift22 @ianthe37 sorry so long in reply. I want to replicate these amazing pants so I can keep them and you can buy them and others can discover them too😊I've searched exhaustively within my means for a similar fabric to no avail. I am now working with a fabric company to create a design that captures the same colors at least.

gypsythrift22 @ianthe37 I've also been studying my favorite comfortable pants and researching pant pattern design. My first prototype based off my custom pattern turned out awesome and I have grand dreams of a custom palazzo line. I have some adjustments to make and 2 different fabrics to test ...

gypsythrift22 @tclausen6 thank you 🌸 I finally altered these to fit my size, I just couldn’t part with them. I leave the listing up so when I find similar fabric I can offer to make some for people who liked these.

gypsythrift22 @hypersqueak this is the fabric I test you about. I have never come across anything quite like it. I love the way the dye splotches intermingle without any particular pattern. #lifegoal to recreate this.

hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 I do like them! my only question is if you have to put the fabric into the boiling dye, how easy or hard will it be to tie dyed instead of doing a single coat?
Aug 22Reply
gypsythrift22
gypsythrift22 @hypersqueak in order to “tye dye” with the idye that requires heat we would scrunch the fabric according to the pattern desired, then apply the dye, then microwave it. That’s the only way I know of to get the dye hot. Other option would be to dip dye ombré layers like you said in text.

hypersqueak
hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 well we definitely don't want to microwave it. I know for a fact that will ruin the fabric. I have put the synthetics in the microwave before. the woman I just called it Dharma said we definitely want enough water and a big enough pot without certain materials.

hypersqueak @gypsythrift22 We do have another option. That option is to do a solid color dye and then over dye a pattern on it very carefully. We might have to do an ombre or to do a single color dye at this point. I'm trying to figure out what color I want to do if I could only pick one color. We might have to figure out what colors to mix.
