roxie32 Do you know in what way is it a petite? I'm a size 12-14 large, is it smaller in the hips or is it because of the layered stitching that makes it ighter?

rachie_12 @roxie32 Hi! I really can't tell it's a petite.. I'm 5'6" and it hits right about at my calves. It fits pretty flowy, not tight at all. I don't think you'd have any issues with it at all!

rachie_12 @roxie32 hey girl! measurements (lying flat) at belly button where the elastic waist band is: 12.5", 20" stretched. At hips: approximately 20" flat. I tried on the skirt and determined where the hips hit on me. hope this helps!

roxie32 Thank you so much! Ooh, I really want this to work, but I'm worried that it'll be too tight across that first layer where it's stitched. I'm afraid that seam will hit right at my hips/bum and won't fit. My hips are a 42. Did you notice if that seam hit you across the hits when you tried it on. Sorry for all of the questions, if it was a straight Large swing skirt, it would be a no brained! 😜

rachie_12 @roxie32 haha! I uploaded some pics of it on my sis. I measured the hips right at my hip bones, but not the widest part of my bottom. My sis is normally a 6-8 and her hips are 37"(at widest part). She pulled out the skirt at the hips to give you a better idea about the width 😃
