Authentic Spell Isla Bonita dresses will always have a solid opaque drawstring ribbon, never a shiny, transparent one. They will always be 100% viscose, never 100% cotton. The bottom of the lace oval should not be cut off by the waist lace, with the exception of size XS... it can be cut off slightly due to the shorter bodice of that size. If you find one that it is cut off, just be very suspicious and ask many questions to be safe.

dancinsasa1978Question...is the Isla Bonita romper suppose to be made in China or Indonesia??

chynnagrove@iamgeni Thank you for posting this.

elisakayeI’ve seen tags on many garments posted on posh with a tag that resembles the fake tag above same font and material. Does this mean those garments are fake? Best way to identify authentic pieces?

Sep 16Reply

iamgeni@elisakaye No, each garment has different identifying elements. Best thing is to join the Spell Fake Identification Facebook group and search for the item in question. ❤️
