lovemayy @thestylevariety hey girl💕 So I'm also an 8.5 and wide! ( as you can see from the pictures). However in my case I needed a 9 bc of my long toes lol. If you're a solid 8.5 and wide and no long toes, an 8.5 will fit you perfectly 😊. You have nothing to worry about the straps. They aren't narrow. They have a good Width to them. If you want the appx measurement of the strap I can upload tomorrow 😊
