jrivero1217@crissygray1, how do I send you the ones I bought so you can check if real?

Oct 17Reply

brianwalter_86does anyone know what the difference between no. 2s vs trash whores are?

Is this listing inappropriate? Report Listing

xo_tiffanieOk I've seen a couple pairs where people mention they run small!! Which confused me because I could have swore they run big. Thanks for clarifying and confirming my feeling! Is there anything we can do if we accidentally get "duped"? Does Posh get your money back for you?

May 01Reply

xo_tiffanieThe ones do_dory_do are selling seem fake 😩 she says they run small and the tag on hers looks like the fake one on yours. No spaces in between the sentences. Thanks for sharing I prob would have bought them!

May 01Reply

crissygray1@xo_tiffanie yes, I got my money back. These are copys of the photos I took and sent to poshmark of the shorts I received. They did a full refund.

May 01Reply

crissygray1@xo_tiffanie glad I could help😊

May 01Reply

jocemrThanks for the warning! Did posh refund you? I haven't had to do that before. so disappointed that I didn't look more carefully when I purchased 😩

May 02Reply

crissygray1@jocemr yes they did- as long as you don't accept the item you can contact posh support and send in photos. They send you a shipping label to return the item and you get your money back. I didn't even know there were fakes until I bought them. The outside looked identical to the real ones basically.

May 02Reply

crissygray1@jocemr but the inside was really bad quality.

May 02Reply

jocemr@crissygray1 okay good to know! Will do the same. Thanks again for the heads up!! So many red flags I should have picked up on, oh well 😔

May 02Reply

crissygray1@jocemr You're welcome - I felt the same way. I should have known. But it's like you think people are honest.

May 02Reply

crissygray1@rockerbarbie you're welcome💕 Happy Poshing

May 02Reply

effeelouOther than running small, is the fit the same as real ones ?!

May 03Reply

crissygray1@effeelou honestly I can't say. I usually wear these in a 27 or 28. The replicas I bought were size 28 on the tag but fit like a 25/ 26. They were too small to tell if they would be comparable.

May 03Reply

christinacleansI saw this post and went to find a pair and saw a flaw and then saw you commented about a flaw too! Thank you for posting.

May 04Reply

crissygray1@christinacleans 😊

May 04Reply

ashleighc87Thank you!! I had no idea!!

May 04Reply

bloggerashleeCan you "like" dome real ones In size 23...lol!! ??? 😍🙌🏼❤️

May 08Reply

bloggerashlee*some

May 08Reply

crissygray1@bloggerashlee the easiest way to check if they are real before you buy them is to ask the seller to post a pick of the size/ content tag. There's a typo on all the fakes saying "yurn around" instead of "turn around." Also, if you look at the content tag on the authentic pair, the words take up the whole tag instead of the middle of the tag. Hope that helps. If you see some you want me to look at just tag me on the post and I would gladly take a look😊

May 08Reply

g0t_nancyhi! you seem to know a lot about one teaspoon and I'm kind of late into the game, but do you know the difference between trashwhores and no 2s shorts? Any tips will be appreciated! Thanks!

May 09Reply

crissygray1@g0t_nancy hey hon, I've yet to purchase either of those styles, if I were you I'd reference the one teaspoon website for fit and measurements for the specific styles you're looking at. Also, I've seen some blog posts for reviews of the styles- but I can't think of specific ones ATM 😣Just google it lol, that's what I've done 😉Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

May 09Reply

g0t_nancythanks for the reply! yeah I've researched high and low through google and no luck. And their website has the exact same description for both style, which I thought was weird. but thanks for this helpful post!!!!!

May 09Reply

crissygray1@g0t_nancy ya that is weird- I think I heard they re-named the trashwores No 2s. I can't remember for sure tho.

May 09Reply

crissygray1@g0t_nancy ahh that's right, I found it another listing of the no 2s on posh- they stopped making the trash whores and replaced them with the no 2s - so the fit should be the same😊

May 09Reply

g0t_nancyOh man,,, you're so sweet!!! Thanks a million!!! 💖💖🎀🎀

May 10Reply

samedevaneThanks for posting this. 💙💙

May 11Reply

gealgWow, thank you so much for posting this! I'd hate to buy a pair of One Teaspoons only to find they're fake! I didn't even know fake One Teaspoons were a thing! Thank you so much! Sharing now! 🙏🏼💕

May 12Reply

crissygray1@gealg @samedevane you're welcome 💕

May 12Reply

kianna808This blows my mind! Never knew they had fakes.. thanks

May 12Reply

caramonique@ashtyneleigh

May 23Reply

emarae@crissygray1 Hi! I'm just coming across this and am checking to see if mine are a fake! I had no idea fakes of this brand even existed 😩. Based on your comparison, the inside hem of my pockets are pretty sloppy but my tag is a little different. Looks legit with correct spelling but does have 68% cotton and 32% polyester. The top part also just has the One X Oneteaspoon and nothing else. Does that sound fake to you?

May 24Reply

crissygray1@emarae it would be really hard for me to say for sure without seeing them hon. How is the stitching on the inside of the back pockets and the inside of the shorts? I would say if it's one small detail they may be authentic- but when there's are bunch a little details that are off/poor quality then they may be knockoffs.

May 24Reply

crissygray1@emarae and almost all the knock offs ive seen in posh look identical to the pair posted here (in blue or black)

May 24Reply

emarae@crissygray1 They seem exactly like the real ones from your pictures lol the only thing is the inside stitching is a little sloppy on one side and the care instructions tag is silky not like the original and has a different form of the logo on it. 😂it's so confusing! They seem like they could be either or but since I couldn't find ANYTHING on the internet to sort it out I thought maybe you would know. Thanks so much for your time though!

May 24Reply

jeantradeThank you for this post. I had no idea there are fakes of these. I should have known there can be fake anything.

Jun 14Reply

crissygray1@jeantrade you're welcome hon!

Jun 14Reply

yomicThank you for the post! I think I came to it too late. I purchased and accepted the product already 😫😫😫😫

Jun 28Reply

crissygray1@yomic I would still contact poshmark and let them know- I've had them work with me on an order I'd already accepted. It doesn't hurt to try😊

Jun 28Reply

yomic@crissygray1 okay thank you!

Jun 28Reply

yomic@kindnesscounts

Jun 29Reply

bynhimrodI'm appalled that there are fakes out there. I thought it was only for luxury brands. Thanks for the post

Jul 05Reply

houckwilliamsHi there would you mind measuring the size 28 waist while lying flat?! Thanks so much

Jul 07Reply

crissygray1@houck22581 I can measure a pair of my 28s but this listing is not for sale- just wanting to clarify😊 Do you still want the measurement?

Jul 07Reply

houckwilliams@crissygray1 oh I'm so sad!!! Ok yes I'll check your closet!!

Jul 07Reply

crissygray1@houck22581 sorry for the confusion! I don't have any of these for sale at the moment- but I own some (that I'm not Selling) that I could measure if you need a reference lol.

Jul 07Reply

houckwilliams@crissygray1 that would be awesome! I'm terrified to pay $100 for a fake pair

Jul 07Reply

crissygray1@houck22581 no worries! Always ask for more photos if your aren't sure about a listing, and if you do buy a pair of posh check them thoroughly (that's why I posted this so people can see what to look at/for) and if they are fake posh will issue a refund after you return them 😊 I'll post measurements shortly

Jul 07Reply

froleelaThank you so much for posting this😻😻😻💖💖💖

Jul 10Reply

crissygray1@froleela you're welcome💕

Jul 10Reply

crissygray1@minimal_armoire 😊

Jul 22Reply

crissygray1@minimal_armoire It's hard to say- you could ask for a pic of the size tag/ material content and check for typos- is that pair one teaspoon? They look similar

Jul 22Reply

crissygray1@minimal_armoire 😊

Jul 22Reply

jsm91562Thank you so much for this post. The same thing is happening with Alexander McQueen skull scarves and it's driving me crazy! As someone who collects them, I hate to see people ripped off. I may also post the real versus fake photos in my closet to give buyers a heads up. 👍

Aug 03Reply

crissygray1@jsm91562 👍🏼 If it can help anyone it's worth the time to post it.

Aug 04Reply

robintt@hunter_fp

Aug 04Reply

kayla5111Omg I'm so glad I found this I'm about ready to purchase 3 pairs!!! TY for this, this will help me decide!!!🖒

Aug 05Reply

kayla5111@crissygray1 is it only in bandits? Or any one can be fake?

Aug 05Reply

crissygray1@kayla5111 it may be other styles- I don't know for certain but the indication of them being fakes would be the same: poor stitching, typos on the labels, uneven seams etc. hope that helps hon. If you do buy a pair check them over inside and out before accepting- if they are fakes you can submit photons and get a return.

Aug 05Reply

kayla5111@crissygray1 that's good to know. I've just purchased like four pairs lol

Aug 05Reply

kayla5111@crissygray1 you don't have any one teaspoon shorts for sale?

Aug 05Reply

crissygray1@kayla5111 I don't at the moment. Sorry hon

Aug 05Reply

kayla5111@crissygray1 its okay thanks!

Aug 05Reply

kayla5111@crissygray1 some OT have the back patch *with the style name and OT* like yours has and some are just a small black patch with just OT, is that normal for some to be different?

Aug 06Reply

crissygray1@kayla5111 I'm not sure hon- all mine have the patch on the back. If you're looking at a listing you can tag me in it and I can look.

Aug 06Reply

crissygray1@kayla5111 hey hon- I think those are just older styles maybe. I just started buying this brand this year so I'm not sure - but I do know the older styles had the info on the pockets like those. Hope that helps 😊

Aug 06Reply

kayla5111@crissygray1 okay thanks, I just ordered couple pairs, not those, but I was interested in maybe getting one of them to. Thanks for your knowledge😍🖒🙄🙄

Aug 06Reply

greentaraloveThank you so much for posting this!

Aug 12Reply

crissygray1@greentaralove 😊

Aug 12Reply

honeypop@krmg123 hi, fake OT shorts also have full square stitching on the back. the full square stitching OT usually used in 2015.

Sep 20Reply

grenadiergrlThank u for this post!! 💕

Sep 23Reply

crissygray1@cmcrvz 😊 You're welcome hon!

Sep 23Reply

ayypeaI tagged you in a listing that I’m almost 100% sure is fake & just wanted your opinion

Oct 12Reply

crissygray1@ayypea I'm not sure on those. They don't like like they are even bandits- maybe the bonitas. I know the labels on the old school one teaspoon vary from what I have pictured on this listing. So those maybe authentic - hard to say without seeing the inside stitching- but they are not the same shorts that are posted on her cover photo. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful🙈

Oct 12Reply

ayypea@crissygray1 ya I knew for sure they weren’t bandits. & it leads me to believe they aren’t authentic but you’re right. I’ll have to check the inside. Thank you!!!

Oct 12Reply

dtroup7@crissygray1 I see a number of Bonita’s with the big square label on the inside back middle seam rather than the two small horizontal labels on that has the sizing. Are the ones with the big square label fake?

Dec 31Reply

dtroup7*one

Dec 31Reply

crissygray1@dtroup7 Some authentic shorts do have the big square label- I couldn’t tell you for sure without looking at the shorts tho. If there’s any questions of authenticity ask to see a pic of the inside seams. Hope that helps 😊

Dec 31Reply

nicoler84If i tag you on a pair could u tell me if they are fake or not?

Jan 22Reply

crissygray1@nicoler84 yes I could take a look 😊

Jan 22Reply

nicoler84@crissygray1 thank ypu so much!!

Jan 22Reply

crissygray1@nicoler84 I’m not as familiar with that style of OT but I would ask the seller to post a close up pic of the care tag and the one teaspoon logo tag on the bottom hem to see if there are any details that are off. From the two pics posted I can’t definitively tell.

Jan 22Reply

nicoler84Okayy thank u very much! Greatly appreciated

Jan 22Reply

rebekahlkellyI received a pair of Hendrix Bandits today. They don’t have the size stamped in the large black number on the inside pocket. The quote is also by Janis Joplin and is silky. I can’t tell by the seams. Any idea? They have an outside tag and came in a plastic One Teaspoon bag

Feb 08Reply

crissygray1@rebekahlkelly I have the Hendrix I bought from a retailer and they don’t have the size stamped on the pocket and the tag is silky as well. If you post a pic (and mark not for sale) I will take a look. If the seams inside look clean then they are most likely authentic. Look for the yyy on the zipper as well?

Feb 09Reply

rebekahlkelly@crissygray1 doing it now. No zipper, just buttons

Feb 09Reply

rebekahlkelly@crissygray1 just posted. It wouldn’t let me tag you but let me know what you think or if you need more pics. Thank you! I haven’t accepted them

Feb 09Reply

debilue@crissygray1 Hi, I have a pair of ONE teaspoon jeans for sale. I think they are authentic, can you help me make sure, I would so appreciate your help. My site is Debilue's Closet on poshmark. I follow you. thank you!!!

May 12Reply

ho11ywou1dWhat about the difference between the two inside label tags. I noticed one is rectangle and has two tags, one with the brand and the other with the size circled. Others just have one square tag.

May 17Reply

crissygray1@ho11ywou1d I don’t have any with the square tag- just the ones with the size circled- not to say that that makes them authentic or not- I don’t know for sure.

May 17Reply

ho11ywou1d@crissygray1 good to know! Thank you.

May 18Reply

crissygray1@isabelduncan this listing isn’t for sale- please read the description

May 22Reply

mk123415I tagged you in a similar listing! Hopefully it will bring awareness!

May 28Reply

crissygray1@mk123415 there’s a few on here like that. If you see them report them so hopefully they will get taken down- she has that one has “unbranded” but still under one teaspoon 🤔

May 28Reply

mk123415I looked under her love notes and she has sold multiple of these in different sizes for $50 and states "There is some question as to authenticity however they are NWOT. As such; I am selling these as unbranded. Price is firm." I did report this person, hopefully Poshmark will do something, what a shame.

May 28Reply

bayleeapatrickI️ got sold fakes... what steps can I️ take to get my money back ?

Jun 10Reply

crissygray1@bayleeapatrick don’t accept the item- on your transactions page you can initiate a return and it will take you through the steps.

Jun 10Reply

cmcolang89Hey! I’m confused- so you are selling authentic bandit shorts for 50? Thank you!

Jul 09Reply

crissygray1@cmcolang89 no- this is post to help poshers spot fake one teaspoon bandits because there are a lot being sold.

Jul 13Reply

smarisI really hate ppl that sell fakes!!!!

Jul 19Reply

brandedperfectI didn't even know there were fakes. I hope none of what I've bought are fake!

Jul 23Reply

mel7779Wow! Did not even know that people sold fake bandits! Thank you very much!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Aug 28Reply

xoiezeso@crissygray1 how do I tag you in a post there are these Jean's I was looking at the care tag looked ok but it looked like bad stitching wanted to tag you so I could see what you thought

Feb 14Reply

xoiezesoI tagged you on the post could you look for me please? Thanks

Feb 14Reply

crissygray1@xoiezeso hey sorry I am not on here much anymore and just saw your comment. The care tag will usually say “yurn” around instead of “turn” around- but I can’t read it clearly in the pic showed on the post you tagged me in. If you do purchase and then figure out they are knock off you can contact posh for a refund as long as you don’t accept the item. Hope that helps

Mar 08Reply

chrisben85Are you selling or just informing?

Apr 28Reply

katelynhendr673Mine are all real purchased from store !! (:

Aug 01Reply

katelynhendr673Didn’t know that they faked them though :(

Aug 01Reply

katelynhendr673@xo_tiffanie certain sizes really do run small and big... I wear a size 24-27 in this brand depending on the style!!

Aug 01Reply

beachy8844@houckwilliams if you haven’t purchased a pair yet I’d check out Revolve clothing. They sell one Teaspoon (new) but have a very fast shipping time and returns are super easy. That where I got my first pair to make sure the sizing was good.

Aug 02Reply

crissygray1@beachy8844 Thank you- just sharing to help other posters so they don’t get duped!!

Aug 04Reply

beachy8844@crissygray1 thank you for posting all of this information! I went back and checked all of the ones I’ve purchased on here.

Aug 04Reply

fashionluv8620Wow! Thank you for this post! This is a new to me brand and I never even knew there would be fakes! So helpful :)

Apr 09Reply

callmecoreyThank you for this!!! I’m just starting to search for One Teaspoon shorts & didn’t even know fakes were this common!!

Apr 17Reply

melisatrulockThank you SO MUCH!!

Jun 12Reply

kateno4ekHi @mylovedcloset_! Can you please check yours according to those pictures! If it's authentic, I'll submit an offer, thank you!

Oct 01Reply

mssushiqWow, I’m floored. Searching for some here, had no idea & consider myself hyper vigilant re anything fake. Love OT, wondering why some “ran small.” Now I know - thanks for this, greatly appreciated

Jan 21Reply

mssushiqPS - anyone reading this, OTspn always has a great clearance section, but larger sizes go quick!

Jan 21Reply

terris3catsWow this is insane 😳 I just purchased a pair on gear earlier today, I will definitely be looking at them closely when they get here 💗 thank you.

Mar 29Reply

khiggins86@chelseytaryn there are some noticeable differences but then on some it’s difficult to tell

Apr 23Reply

khiggins86@mssushiq where is their clearance section?

Apr 23Reply

mssushiq@khiggins86 Go to their website sale section. Some items are final sale. I’ve been quick enough to grab a cpl items. Best is when they have a “sale on sale” Event. Can’t recall, but you may be able to sign up for notifications etc. There’s a men’s sale section too. I bought a pair of mens’ shorts I love. If on the smaller side, you’re lucky, larger sizes go first. Oh, and amazing tops/blouses too

Apr 23Reply

khiggins86@mssushiq oh wow thank you! I’ve only gotten them on revolve!

Apr 23Reply

mssushiq@khiggins86 Yay!

Apr 26Reply

mssushiq@khiggins86 did you chk out the site yet?

Apr 26Reply

khiggins86@mssushiq yeah, didn’t see anything that was that great of a deal. I’m going to keep looking though!

Apr 27Reply

jrivero1217@crissygray1, how do I send you the ones I bought so you can check if real?
