jaimeb19515 Do you have any one piece swimsuits for swim practices, and I have a swim related question but do you wear your suits under clothes while driving to your meets or practices eliminating having to change, just jump into warmups, just curious what other swimmers do and if it works.

isabelle_s05 @jaimeb19515 I usually wear my suit to practices and meets since we usually have to get started right away and don’t have time to change but it might be different for others. and yes, we do always do warmups (land and in water) first since it prevents you from injuring yourself when you go hard on a set right after. hope this helped!

jaimeb19515 @isabelle_s05 oh ok, I just started swimming so want to know what other swimmers do for there routines and what works, do you normally just drive back home in the suit after practice or meets and change/shower once there making it easier how do you prevent the seats from getting wet too.

isabelle_s05 @jaimeb19515 since we have covid restrictions right now, I have to go home to shower but i’ll wear sweatpants and/or a towel in the car. im not sure for other people but ive swam for so long that getting the car seats a little wet is a pretty typical thing for me that i don’t care about anymore. however, during a typical season, i would shower at my pool.

isabelle_s05 @jaimeb19515 during meets, i go back home/the hotel to shower, mainly because I’m a synchronized swimmer and we’re usually not allowed to take our hair stuff out in public showers since it could clog them. however, the stuff we do is pretty similar to swim team and so I think they’re probably the same. it probably also depends on your team, coach, and how much time you have.
