I'm desperately seeking the Unif Era boots in a sz 11 - I would be open to other similar platform boots from Dollskill, Current Mood, fluevog, Deandri or New Rock Boots!!! My question, dear gurus: they are saying Era runs a half sz small and Scosche runs nearly a full size big. I swear they are nearly the same shoe!!! Is this possible??? I really prefer the Era over the Scosche but months of seeking a 10 have turned up nothing. Open to opinions!

juliapurple @texastrouble I am a 10.5 and the era's were too small for me, so it's possible they are true to size! I don't have experience with the other shoes though. I just had to stop kidding myself by ordering UNIF shoes in a 10 😂 cuz I'm in between sizes and that won't work with their brand usually!

lisssaluvya Honestly I feel like ALL my UNIF shoes, probably 10-15 pairs, are all in my normal size and work because I have skinny feet and narrow ft, I would honestly recommend to order up if you are unsure, better to be able to add an insert if they are too big than not wear a too small pair:). The Daria boots are the only ones I've ever thought were running really small!!!💖💖💖💖

texastrouble I would like to thank all those super helpful Unif lovers out there for making it possible for me to find my Era boots. And to answer some Q's > the Era runs mega small/short, where the Downer, Neo and Scosche run large. There is literally almost an inch difference in length!

texastrouble @mechamedic I had to repost the ISO 😭 my 10s literally are a whole inch shorter than my other Unifs...if I didn't know better I'd swear they were mis-marked. I've tried wearing them and making it work but it's not working and almost damaged them. So sad!!!!!

texastrouble @afirm have you ever had to have your Unifs repaired? I’m having the worse time w the platform on my Eras. It’s cracked where your foot would bend and now trying to separate from the sole. I hate to have my cobbler chew me out, especially if he glued it and it breaks again. Open to suggestions!

afirm @texastrouble I haven’t had to do that! However, I’m sure a cobbler would know what to do. I mean, they don’t know everything but I’m sure he/she would be able to guide you in the right direction if anything. I know the soles of UNIF shoes can be pretty lightweight.....so it’s kinda hard to think about it even being repairable

texastrouble @afirm well I finally realized the era platform goes all the way across, so there’s no natural split between the front and heel like in other platforms. So I guess my foot made the split via a crack. My options are to fix it, sell it, or go crazy DIY style and see what magic comes from breathing shoe cement! 🤣🥃🖤
