I learned today, I will never be able to stand/walk ever again, due to losing too much oxygen and blood to my brain from all of the times I have blacked out...however, being alive and having my wingman by my side is more important to me than not being able to stand or walk ever again. 🖤 Each dove (5) on my back, represents traumas I have and am experiencing in my life.

sarahanntuck@normaje16 @sanie5 sorry it took so long to write back. I’ve been on a downward roller coaster that I’m trying to hang on to and not fall out. And, unfortunately, I am physically not doing better - my body is shutting down on me - but I am trying to learn to be happy in my current condition and just be blessed to be alive and wake up every day! ☺️ they have stopped all treatments sense nothing is working and I am just going to live out my life as positive as I can!

I use to run marathons, travel to foreign countries, scuba dive, cliff dive, white water raft, sky dive, etc. and then one day over 2.5 years ago I got out of bed, stood up, and couldn’t stand. Haven’t been able to stand since that day, due to a disease similar to nerve gas. But I’m slowly adjusting. It’s hard to go from being able to do everything to not being able to do anything. But God has a reason... 🙏🏻

sarahanntuck@aprilxe I have a very rare neurological disease - it is similar to a person who had been exposed to nerve gas. It caused me to have a mini stroke and lose the feeling on my left side of my body, and the disease does not send signals to my brain when I stand up, so blood and oxygen do not go to my brain causing me to blackout. And the doctors fear my next one could be my last.

I’ve been recovering from foot surgery, feeling depressed about not been able to walk and reading your story truly gave me a new outlook, we are lucky to be alive and we should celebrate life.
