Sometimes when I am going through and doing all the following my name doesn't show up is that normal? Sorry I've been on here long enough to probably know this but I don't understand it. oneinamillionjj @tlude Sry for the delay, I'm sure you know from playing the game how full your newsfeed can get. It says don't "unfollow" & refollow bcuz ppl were unfollowing the main Secret Posher & refollow it them to get their name on the listing for everyone to see that day. You're not always seeing your name in the persons followers list bcuz it only shows the last 1000 who followed. Hope that helps. Lmk if u have any other questions :)

Make sense? No worries on that anyways, the bonus ppl all get a turn bcuz it's something that Freddie wanted to do for the players. There are many that don't have alot of blur buttons to share & that's where the main SP & Revisit come in .. it all evens out

I keep those 2 around tho for the stuff that can't be sold on here lk skincare, nail polish etc. I do get a nice size sale bout once a month on V where someone will spend $50-100 which is awesome with the no commission so my pricing is low, they really get alot for their $$

trayzmua2416 @oneinamillionjj I love that about V!!! That you can sell for no charge. Posh charges seller's way more than M does.. I'm able to keep my prices lower on V and M because of that. I've had two $100+ sales on V from the same buyer, a couple around $50, but it's so slow there. I've done most sales on M but posh is catching up slowly lol. I've honestly never once looked at clothes on any of these apps lol. I sell them, but if I buy it's solely makeup.

I went a little crazy at first buying stuff, but finally slowed down and got to selling lol. I think I've only bought two things in the last month so that's pretty darn good for me because for awhile I was buying like ten items a day lol. Now for me to purchase it has to be something I really really want or something I use daily

I def went overboard buying multiple times/day .. but slowly shipping went up, commission crept in along w/ all the counterfeit makeup & I just finally turned my focus back here for the most part.

trayzmua2416 @oneinamillionjj yesss!!! I've seen numerous listings for the new Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette at $20-$25 a pop. For one those are $65 palettes. And second it hasn't even been released yet! These people have a whole page full of these palettes for sale... Like 30+ palettes. And every one of them is sold!! Idk if people just don't know any better or don't care. I personally refuse to purchase, use, or sell fakes.

oneinamillionjj @trayzmua2416 yep definitely frustrating. I'm not sure about some of the ppl. I think they don't care & view it lk carrying a knockoff purse, but they're SO wrong. What I don't think they realize is how harmful some of that stuff can be. I most def will not buy, use or sell the fakes either. Ppl can get seriously hurt from some of the stuff if they're not careful. Its sad really :(

trayzmua2416 @oneinamillionjj exactly! I watch a girl on YouTube who does a fake up series.. Basically trying fakes from Ally Express to see how they compare to the real thing. She tried fake ABH liquid Lipstick and got CHEMICAL BURNS on her lips! It looked so bad and she said it was incredibly painful. It took a month for her to heal enough to even wear lipstick. Plus I think it's just insulting to the creator of the legit item in question

Yikes that's horrible! I had read some horror stories a few yrs back when Benefit was being duped real bad. Some fakes are so hard to pick out unless you've got an authentic to compare it to. I love that site, but I most def don't order the makeup! I order cabochons off it mostly .. u can't really find them in the US..

At least give them the choice... But I've seen so many flat out lie and list them as Authentic when they are so obviously not. I always look at the sellers ratings, check their other items because chances are if they have multiples of the exact same thing it's fake..

Then the second photo is a stock photo of the Huda Rose Gold palette!!! So not only are they lying, they aren't providing legit photos, and the stock photo they did provide isn't even the correct palette lmao

I use stock photos alot, but I also take my own pics. Always post serial #s as well & try to watermark my pics so no one can try to use them. The bad thing with the Kylie's is the do really look very realistic. only way to tell them as fakes sometimes is to physically smell them the authentic ones have a cake scent. The fakes dont. I have Kylie lippies listed and they are all legit. I actually paid full price for them but have so many lipsticks I just never used them. Had to downsize lol. Which is the case with all my makeup items. I HAVE to buy stuff but then have so much I just never get to using it lol

oneinamillionjj @p_joyceschoices My items are also very cheap. The most expensive item is $35-40. Do you only play our game or do you follow alot outside that as well? I would suggest signing up to be the SP for all the other games too. At the top of the sp game, there is a Game Master List - go to each game & request, I believe there's 6 more. Then you're being featured to a wider variety of ppl as well. 👍 Try going into my followers & follow everyone ur not, for a lil boost too.

oneinamillionjj @p_joyceschoices Oh I still use the lame S4. My 2 fav editing apps are picsart & photogrid. U can't share signs/sales etc .. u just make them on those apps, save them to your phone & then upload them. Are u taking your clothing pics inside the app as you list? Cuz u don't have to ... you can take all the pics beforehand, open them in the editing apps so u can crop & stuff, then upload to posh from your phone.

When u hit "sell" instead of taking a picture, there should be a little file folder in the lower left, that will open your picture gallery so u can find the photos u want to upload. So glad I was able to help u with that! It's such a time saver to be able to take all your pics and then list when you're ready.

You can even take the pics with a digital camera & then put the camera card in your phone if they take the same card .. that's what I do. Specifically, after I complete certification and start selling boutique items do I have to report my earnings to the IRS on my tax form? oneinamillionjj @callmedeedee Its not actually a license, it's more or less an agreement & approval between you & posh that u will remain a compliant closet etc. It was so long ago now that i did it, I don't really remember all that they asked. Once approved you are able to order wholesale items directly from specified posh boutiques thru posh although I never thought any of it seemed very cheap personally. And the stuff that was, they'd say msrp $20 would be a ring that u could order from China for $1.

oneinamillionjj @callmedeedee I only looked thru the wholesale portal briefly once though & only at jewelry bcuz I dislike selling clothes bcuz of all the extra measuring involved lol. Once u buy the stuff, u own it & can do what u want with it though. If u want to shop wholesale outside of posh, it will be up to the discretion of each individual website u find, but most will require u to have a wholesale license & that you get thru the state u live in.

oneinamillionjj @callmedeedee As for taxes, technically any money earned over $600/yr (boutique or not) is supposed to be reported. Which doesn't make sense bcuz you wouldn't claim earnings from a garage sale. Its considered hobby selling though, in which u earn money that should be taxed. I claim mine, but I also do this full time as my income at the moment. 2016 was my 1st year claiming selling & I've been doing it on & off on diff sites for almost 15yrs. Hope I answered all your questions.

Since doing it on here doesn't require u to contact your state, you could prob get around it. You can also go into the application lk you're gonna sign up & read thru it, then exit out.

oneinamillionjj @yourbestfit Outside of that, what I've always done is make sure to share your own items at least twice/day. It can be just to your feed or into a party. Share others, which you're already doing by participating in the Tag game & follow ppl. Look up similar or same items you're selling & follow the ppl who like those other items. Chances are they will follow back & possibly peek in your closet as well .. and maybe even spot something they want.

Beginning of this year tho I cleaned all the perfume, nail polish etc out of my closet & started following the rules. I also do this full time as my income tho so I buy & resell across a cpl apps. My #s wouldn't be nearly as high if I wasn't selling brand new cosmetics.

I'm guessing u will prob gain around 600-800 today, only bcuz Saturday can be kinda slow on here. The others you followed will slowly follow as well. Everyone has a different system to how they followback. Some don't at all, some do immediately, some go thru their own Followers once/day & follow. It really depends on the posher.

oneinamillionjj @yourbestfit I haven't been up since October in the game & that was before we moved. The other day when Kate congratulated me on 100k I wouldn't really consider being featured. Cpl things I noticed bout your closet that might be helpful. #1 Its not compliant. There are many Poshers who won't buy or share your items bcuz of this. I would consider removing the figurine & coasters since they're not allowed to be sold.

It would be ok to have lk 5 items at the top that were of different lower prices ($50 & under) & then put your LV bag. Then put 5 more lower prices items in, then the fur coat. Idk it's just a couple of suggestions, but being compliant is huge.

oneinamillionjj @yourbestfit No problem. No need to Apologize to me, I hadn't even noticed the 1st cpl times we talked. One thing that's been helpful for me to remember is "can u wear it" hair extensions, yes .. hair brush, no .. makeup, yes .. nail polish - yes, but this is where u fall into the usps guidelines of what can be shipped & liquids/flammable items can't .. so no perfume, nail polish, shampoo, skincare etc. Sucks too cuz I have alot of that stuff.

oneinamillionjj @apriljerseygirl No I dont. Jay, Kate & I used to be part of the original game that came out with Freddie, but us 3 moved on & started @gainfollowers mid October. No one really sees me as much bcuz I do all the behind the scenes stuff like find the daily SP'S & log into the game & doing its daily sharing, price drop, etc. They can be alot if work so we opt'd to stay a team & work together. 😉

oneinamillionjj @seconds2love Lol what's funny is I don't have much of a tag list, but the ppl on it could help you out. Let me mention tho, if you're trying to gain followers quickly each of us has a diff type of follow game & each day we post specific ppl who have lots of followers who followback, u should check those out. No lie⬆look at my stats & gains. End of June I started doing this type of game daily with 27,500 followers & on 11/11 I hit 100k. Try for a cpl days, the results are almost instant.

oneinamillionjj @subtext619 The newbies is a good place & there were prob times where ur blues were higher it's just that's what most of the SP'S do so we ended up already following those same ppl thru a prior feature. It can get difficult to intentionally build up your blues sometimes, as that's what I do right before I put myself up in the game ..

oneinamillionjj @hawaiisash Because even though u see others doing it, lotion & perfume/Body spray can't be sold on here bcuz they use usps priority mail for shipping. Priority mail is quick bcuz it travels by plane, not all just ground travel. Priority mail limits the types of items that they ship and anything liquid and/or flammable is not allowed. So that is why your 2 items were removed from here.

oneinamillionjj @hawaiisash It all depends on which listings others are reporting to what is removed. Posh itself is way too busy to moderate the millions of accts on here that's why they allow others to report listings they feel are against the rules. Once that happens, THEN someone looks at the listing to see if it should be removed. So maybe only the 1 was reported? Not exactly sure. You're welcome! 😉

oneinamillionjj @klawsam You just have to request to be added by saying Over the Rainbow or your favorite line from the Wizard of Oz. And no we don't use the same ppl over & over. Once you've been featured as either Super Posher or Bonus SP you can't be featured in those spots again. Since we go off the list that's quite long, no one ever knows when their turn will be.

oneinamillionjj @klawsam The SP has to have at least a certain # of 🆕 (blue buttons/new followers) to be featured. The ones who don't have enuf 🆕 go into the BSP spots. Most of the time BSPs don't have very many 🆕 at all so in order to keep the daily gains decent REVISIT started. This is someone who has been SP/BSP before, but has alot of 🆕 again.

oneinamillionjj @klawsam Now that we've been doing this for 5 months were trying out different ways to keep the game fun, interesting as well as to the point. We created Toto's Pick to give long time players a 2nd turn that's never had enuf 🆕 for REVISIT. Hope that helps.

oneinamillionjj @klawsam You're supposed to go to each featured Poshers acct whether it's SP BSP REVISIT or Toto's Pick. Revisit is someone that has already been either sp/bsp before, but bcuz they do alot of following outside game they have alot of new followers to share with the game again.

From the people featured getting all the extra exposure & shares, their followers gaining followers & then the players building up their following & share count. The only downfall is the wait list & that's minor considering the daily play is where u gain all your followers. 😉 Keep on spreading the gift of following knowledge!

So just cuz u didn't see me on their list doesn't mean I'm not following/being followed. My acct is following 250k ppl tho. With the gainfollowers acct u had about 80 blues.

oneinamillionjj @subtext619 So that's looking better, but still a little short. I can still play u whenever as BSP, but the main SP it still would need abt 50 more. Stacking blues can be hard cuz we follow 400-800/day with the game & every 1000 followers our following changes.

If it does I'll patiently await. I'm trying to earn money to go to Sundance next month. Initially was concerned about Christmas but fortunately I've been blessed with a steady trickle of sales.

oneinamillionjj @subtext619 Not gonna lie .. it's actually quite a big difference, but only bcuz bsp is featured in our closet to our players & the SP is in our closet + every other closet on the team .. so 8 other games on the same day. We're the main/head game so that's why our SP gets featured in the others as well. That's also why it's such a big deal that they have enuf 🆕 buttons .. they are who supplies most of our followbacks for the day.

oneinamillionjj @subtext619 ha no worries. The only time I proofread is when I've gone over the 500 words & need to cut it down .. Idk what to expect after xmas honestly. Sales were not what an avg has been in the past. Posh made changes to the inner workings of the site .. used to be if u were active on the site daily, listing, following, sharing they tipped the scales in ur favor which drove customers to u .. now idk what they're doing but I bet I didn't sell even 1/2 as much as last yr!!

I loved that job for the few months I did it surprising lol. I loved finding all the spare change in random places & digging thru stuff that was left behind by the ppl who'd lived there. There was 1 house where we actually did have to wear hazmat suits due to the aspetous (?) Upstairs. Yuck!

oneinamillionjj @mcjayne That's why we put ourselves in on holidays bcuz we don't know if it'll be busy & I'd hate for someone to not get the full feature. Ppl also get into the really bad habit of thinking it's only worth playing the SP & Revisit bcuz the bsp's don't have any 🆕. Which can be true on occasion, but not very often. I check all the accts when I put the posting together & use ppl that signed up around the same time based on the # of 🆕 each one has .. to keep things consistent.

Ok so if the pkg is going to go over the 5lb limit .. u just do the transaction like normal .. then when u go into the sales tab on here, find the correct sale .. u click on the porblem/inquiry tab & I believe there's an option to request for a new label for addional postage bcuz of weight. The difference in shipping is paid by the seller. Unless of course u figure something with the buyer beforehand where u charge an extra $2-3 on their total to help cover the weight.

oneinamillionjj @sense_queen Another thing to consider as well is, how much heavier is the pkg going to be? If it's 1lb or less, I personally would just "pretend" I didn't know & send it thru. Usps is so busy that they don't weigh every single pkg. Plus if the weight is only slightly off, they're not likely to notice while handling it. I sell on 3 apps & the other 2 have tiered shipping based on weight & I slide stuff thru on the cheaper end all the time. Its not "by the book" but I doubt I'm the only one. Lol

oneinamillionjj Lol well thank you! @bell1971 You do have to remember though that I buy stuff with the intent to sell, so alot of the items do sell themselves. You don't have to be on posh all the time. Its good to take breaks & change up your routine bcuz for some reason the app responds to that. It seems to me that if I'm on all day sharing, listing etc I won't get any sales.

Not sure if that's accurate but it's happened more than once. Also not sure if you do, but I don't always return every share & it all depends on what I have for time. If I'm limited I skip over returning the 1-2 shares from random ppl & do 3-5 for someone who may have shared alot.

I share my entire closet .. 700+ listings at least once/day & sometimes more. Then of course there's portions that I can share into certain parties too. Oh never decline an offer. Even if it's super low, either let it sit & time out or counter back - even if it means countering back your listed price or the same price multiple times. It helps sales for some reason. Lol

I was wrongfully terminated once I got back to work after putting myself thru treatment & unemployment sided with me. I do sell for my income as well, so I kinda get what ya mean .. There's photo editing apps in the app stores. Many of them are free. I have android & use photogrid for most of my normal collage pics inside my listings & picsart for my cover photos. oneinamillionjj @p_joyceschoices I don't remember if you have iPhone or Android. Anyways, what I put in my listings isn't a "true" watermark persay .. I just type it in the app in normal color text & then alot will have an option to change the opasity of the text - that just means that you can make it look lighter or fade the color out to almost nothing. The app I use is called PicsArt. There's a free & paid version of it, but I just use the free one.

oneinamillionjj @p_joyceschoices I have Android too so you should be able to do it. Remember it's not called watermark in the editing app tho. It's just plain adding text & changing the opasity (lightening/fading) of how dark it shows up. You could prob search the app store (where u downlown apps) for watermark & it'll bring up apps with that feature that u can try out.

I have my app settings so that I get a pop up when a party is just starting/going on. I'm central time, but there's a party at 11, 2, 6 & 9 every day .. Or do I have do share by going into each item separately in my vloset? Some will not let me share because I did it a few hours ago. Thank you for your help.

oneinamillionjj @chicboutique77 Hi. The 3 dots in the corner that says share will take you to share your items outside the app like with gmail, to Facebook or Pinterest. Unfortunately in order to share your own closet, it does need to be done 1 by 1 just lk when u share mine. If you're getting an error msg while sharing, its bcuz something doesn't fit the guidelines of where you're trying to share. There is no time/amt guideline.

oneinamillionjj @chicboutique77 I've run into it in your closet as well. For example - trying to share a plus size shirt to the plus sz party. It will only accept items marked sz 14 & up or 0x 1x etc. I know you have something listed as 14p (14 petite) & it won't accept it. Best suggestion is to change it to sz 14 & note in the description that its 14 petite. Hope that helps!

It will only show the last 1000 that followed me & all are from the past 3 days or less. Also, check out the 2nd listing in my closet. I co-admin a super posher follow game where you can increase your followers by 200+ daily!

I am doing so much that I am getting headaches from the rapid motion of back and forth. I going to have to stop doing this constantly. I only generated one sale on new shoes that sold for $8 and I only will get $5. I thought that reaching Posh status would produce more sales. I started to get disappointed. Can you make some suggestions?

I know you can't spell the whole thing out here. I think it is a good idea. I have watched some videos on people claiming they are making a full time income on Posh but I kind of question it now. I think you are right having more sites helps to meet the bills waiting to be paid.

Being a posh ambassador isn't necessarily going to make sales come any quicker, it does however give ppl more reassurance that they trust in buying from you - as you've shown dedication & good repertoire. It is possible to earn enuf on posh to have it be your daily job - but then it is a job. The welcoming, sharing others, sharing yourself etc are then your daily duties.

I do sell online as my sole source of income, but do have my items listed on 2 other apps besides here. Vinted is the other one besides M. The majority of my sales come from Posh, but I make sales on the other 2 here & there that round out days when I don't have sales here.

oneinamillionjj @chicboutique77 Yep Mer is the other one. You'll find that there's pros & cons about each - as they all are slightly different. Diff shipping speeds & prices, diff commission fees, even what they'll allow u to do as far as "sharing" is different. This app is the only one that has daily parties, sharing upkeep etc. So having 3 is actually really easy bcuz once items are uploaded to the others, they're there until they sell - u just gotta remember to take down what sells on 1 app from the others.

My thyroid destroyed it years ago- and I just stopped dying it aside from the part underneath. I used to flat iron it allllll the time like several times a day. This last year with all the medical stuff I mostly put it into a bun... I guess that helped! I always wanted to donate my hair. Yours is so pretty!!!!

oneinamillionjj @damaralph Well it depends on if your hair has been dyed before or not. Most places won't take it if it has. Mine had been dyed but that was long gone & back to my natural color again. You can ask the salon if they donate hair. If not, I'd searched the internet for a place I could send it to myself. Let me look quick & see if I can find the place I used.

oneinamillionjj @damaralph Most ppl think of Locks of Love right away when contemplating donating, however if you look into it they're not as great as they sound. They charge the families receiving the hair & only kids with 1 specific disease can receive from them so I didn't want to go that route. Mine went to childrenwithhairloss.us Make sure you tell them at the salon what you want to do with the hair & they'll usually band it, braid it & then put a band at the other end so the hair stays nice in the mail.
