how wide is the base?

@mizzolia the bag is 15 inches wide at the top. Take about 2 inches off on both sides as you get to the base. I feel comfortable saying 11 inches. (It has hardware and folded leather - makes it hard to get the exact measurement inside when you’re measuring from the outside.)
