Many of Frida's pieces were commissioned by the artist, based on traditional Mexican motifs, traditional dress & festival costume, featuring intricate embroidery, (like much of contemporary popular embroidered fashions) - from the Jacques & Natasha Getman Collection, touring exhibit shown in the USA at The Phoenix Museum of Southwest History and Art.
