I'm looking to purchase this Anna Sui Aguille wedding gown that sold out on BHLDN about 3 years ago! I wore this dress on my wedding day and it was simply gorgeous. But it was recently destroyed in a house fire at my parents' house. I'm heartbroken but hoping to buy another one in a size 0 or 2... just to have. draperzgyrl @jessjmdesign Ugh, what a terrible thing to have to go through! When I saw this last night, I did a web search to see if I could find this dress in your size. Alas, it seems it's more of a legend now than a tangible item you can purchase. Also, what great taste you have! I plan on getting married in a small, 2-person ceremony in Colorado next year in a modest, vintage dress. However, this dress - if I could get my hands on one - would be a game-changer! It is stunning!!

musedvntg @draperzgyrl Thanks for your kind words! It has been very sad to go through the whole ordeal, the least of which is the loss of my dress. There had to have been lots of them sold so I figure I'll just wait until someone decides they want the closet space or the money and then maybe I can snag one.

musedvntg @draperzgyrl We did actually find the dress as only the top part burned but it did sit in the muck for a couple weeks before we could get it. I think if it could be cleaned really well, I could frame part of the skirt or have a clutch made or something. I've seen some ideas on Pinterest. But it is pretty dirty and discolored. ServePro said they wouldn't even try after we sent them pictures. I mean, come on, they claim to work miracles in restoring damaged items and they wouldn't even try!

draperzgyrl @jessjmdesign I do hope it works out. I'm engaged to a (former) firefighter, so I know (secondhand) the heartache associated with a fire, even if it's just property that is damaged. That property is still a memory. I'll continue to keep my eyes peeled for this beautiful frock - one for each of us!

kellymorganrowe @french528 sure, it’s in great condition. I’m 5’7”. My measurements are 33-34 bust and 26-28 waist. I wear a 32/34 c or d depending on bra. Fits perfectly. I became obsessed after seeing it worn on Mary Queen of Scott’s show by one of her ladies lol
