Yes, this is quite a conversation piece! Dating back to pre-embargo 1950s Cuba. Extraordinary and rare bag with the entire body of a real alligator and leather rope intertwined along edges. Shoulder strap designed to be worn long or short (short is more stable). Has 2 front flaps and 2 main compartments, plus small zip pocket inside. Has some rough spots, one on top (pictured) and strap. However in nice condition considering its delicacy and age. Measures: 10.25" x 8" x 3.35". Strap drop 7.25"
