Poshmark is actually a really responsible move. Buying used helps to reduce the demand on our resources and is a stepping away from being a throw-away society. It’s just one more thing we can do to help. Shop with pride. :)

Oct 29Reply

myawesomefindsI understand your perspective but I'm pretty sure 99.9% of wholesale inventory from Boutiques on Poshmark come from factories in China and that's how those Poshers earn their income, so...

Oct 31Reply

maddagirl@myawesomefinds That’s a very fair point. Boutiques and wholesale aren’t my thing so I didn’t immediately think of them. :)

vintageloveliesMay I use this quote in my closet? I'll give credit to you, of course. This is perfect. ❤️

Jan 19Reply

maddagirl@vintagelovelies Absolutely! Thanks for asking. :)

Jan 19Reply

rosegoldgemHi! Thank you so much for your bundle purchase. I've already packaged your items but it is not giving me an option to do more than 10 pounds. I'm willing to pay the extra fees for the shipping but it's not giving me an option. Should I split your bundles into twos? Please advise. Thank you again😊

Jan 21Reply

maddagirl@catherez2003 That’s SUCH a pain for sellers, I feel you on this. Here’s a thought. I saw you lowered the BODEN dress and I’d like to buy it on an offer. I’ll offer on that, can you stuff that box full of the overflow from the other? Will that bring the weight down enough?

Jan 21Reply

rosegoldgem@maddagirl hi, okay I will split your bundle as soon as I get home. Also, I will give you the Boden green dress as one of your gifts. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!😊

Jan 21Reply

rosegoldgem@maddagirl hi! Should I just customize your bundle Order I'm two so It will be easier? Please let me know. Thank you😊

Jan 22Reply

maddagirl@catherez2003 Honeslty, I’m happy to do it however is easiest for you. I think that might be the best way. :)

Jan 22Reply

rosegoldgem@maddagirl hi, I will have to cancel the previous order and make your customized bundle into two😊

Jan 22Reply

maddagirl@catherez2003 Ok! I’m headed to bed shortly. If you make them and tag me, I’ll buy when I wake up. :) or tonight if I’m still up. Thanks!

Jan 22Reply

rosegoldgem@maddagirl ok will do. I will cancel your previous order right now and you may purchase it tomorrow when you can. I apologize, I realized that you're way on the east coast. Tomorrow when you have the chance😊Thank you and good night😊

May 03Reply

poshcrushI love that you share this post Kate, it is so true. I watched a documentary a couple of years ago called The True Cost that gave an in-depth look at how consumers shop and the poorest people who make our clothes live and are paid very little for their work. Really opened my eyes. I hav personally been on a path to become more aware and it is a very interesting journey.

May 31Reply

maddagirl@poshcrush When I had my children, I decided to mostly try not to buy new things in stores - essentially creating the smallest demand I reasonably could. I think it makes a big difference. Thanks for commenting and sharing!

melaniebee74So very true @maddagirl ‼️ I don’t buy the Boutique items anymore; I got burned from a Facebook group when the top I purchased was so poor in quality that I just lost respect for someone who was okay with making money that way 😐 I’m loving all the people I’m meeting through my new Poshing experience 😁
