Its hard to see in the photos, when you say it's a transparent purple, do you mean it's a plasticy material?

@hurlscout The sides are transparent black so you can see through them. i guess you can say its a kind of tinted vinyl. The front of the boot and around the laces is distressed leather. The third to the last picture kind of illustrates that some what. You can see part of my hand through it. If you like me to post more pictures let me know.
