This is an old sterling silver ring with a garnet stone. Not much more else to say! Happy to answer questions. I bought it at an estate sale a while ago and had it tested, you can see marks on rings. It's size 7, not sure how big the stone is.

@numnumnum do you have a preference of jewelry type? Obviously you bought a necklace, so something you'd prefer over say like a ring or bracelet? :) trying to get a sense of what you like!
