cassandra8187 @jphillips0912 it is hypoallergenic so it’s lead and nickel free. it’s not sterling so I would be on the safe side and not get it wet just to make sure. I’m not sure which metal causes the discoloration.

cassandra8187 @serena143 the metal is zinc alloy which is lead and nickel free. From my knowledge, sterling and stainless are the only metals that won’t tarnish. I know that you will not want to wear this in the shower but if u keep the metal dry and store away from moisture, it should not turn colors. Now, everyone’s skin is different and some people’s skin react differently with certain metals. This one is considered hypoallergenic but everyone’s body chemistry is different.
