carolakaufman I love these. Could you confirm for me that they close snugly and securely. Ive had a problem with the hinges not closing tightly or the wire part not lining up---can't really explain but would appreciate you confirming that the close properly so I can seriously consider because they are just perfect for me.

peytonmdavidson @carolakaufman I did one! The closest I can find is on EBay and it’s $225. I think they be worth more than that though so I am going to move forward with the appraisal and I’ll definitely get back to you!

carolakaufman Everyone should be content. Just want to pass along a thought--having just had all my jewelry robbed from my home --including all my vintage and retired Ripka pieces which I am trying to replace within budget. Unfortunately, jewelry may be appraised at a certain price but I learned, sadly, it's really only worth what someone will pay for it. Just sayin'. Let me know what you think.

peytonmdavidson @carolakaufman I’m so sorry to hear that and completely understand. These pieces are special to me so that’s why I am trying to get as close to appraisal as possible. I would like to keep them unless I get my determined asking price once appraised.I took the listing down because from talking to my friend I might be $100 lower than I should. Will definitely keep you posted!
