blaajess @melissacochran1 yes i saw too, its because they have a bigger following so they take advantage of prices & i did research & supposedly the more listings you have the more customers. I just think its unrealistic to sell a sweater/cardigan too high. I put mine up high enough to lower the price or wait for an offer because i dont expect people to purchase a $80 sweater lol i wouldnt. Its the same sweater/cardigan. And thank you :) i try to please my customers.

blaajess @hwebb28 There is no brand because we purchase it directly from where its made and they make our orders at the factory so thats why each posher is entitled to their own price because they could buy it from any seller at the sellers price. Yea, i researched that the more listings you have the more items sell and usually boutiques with tons of listings and followers have their items highly priced and im surprised people actually pay over 80$ for a sweater or cardigan.

blaajess @hwebb28 i also heard a lot of top poshers use bots to share listings and stuff and thats how they get so much traffic but i dont want to risk using any of that stuff and i wouldnt want to pay for that. But i still feel theres something i dont know. Most days i spend my whole day following and sharing and i dont make not one sale & sometimes when i dont use the app ill get random offers or sales. Its really confusing now :(

Cuz when I buy wholesale I see brand names that are wholesale name's when I buy from a 2nd party wholesaler online. So you buy directly from factory? I need a PM lesson from you!! Lol ik a lot of poshers don't want others to know the brand name of their clothing or where they purchased from even.

blaajess @hwebb28 Yes I buy in bulk. I don’t buy wholesale on here because it’s way more expensive and people usually put their own brand name on the item which cost more to make. Then they sell the wholesale on here for more $. Some items will have their own brand name and some will just have the item packaged like mine. I realized that after I checked it out and saw some of the bikinis that I was selling for much higher price in wholesale on Poshmark.

blaajess @hwebb28 They just try to get you to purchase it on here so that you don’t use the international website to order wholesale items instead since some people don’t know about it. It’s takes a lot of research to know your sources that way you can make enough profit for your investment

hwebb28 @blaajess I haven't heard of being able to purchase directly from manufactor with no tags. So that's crazy others mark it up that much! I'm like you spend day's on here following & sharing.. no sales nothing!! Yes, I've heard of bots! I didn't think it was true! Wow that's not fair at all & against PM rules! I guess PM can't tell who is using what?? It's just crazy & so hard to compete with that! But I buy from wholesalers who buy from the factory & I guess they have them put their name

blaajess @hwebb28 Yeah I wouldn’t recommend buying wholesale here. I also can’t see the website on here that most of us use for inventory. The only good thing is that it saves you time with shipping and when you buy directly from the manufacture shipping is very expensive especially for sweaters. I spent $300 on shipping for 53 sweaters. it’s a lot cheaper if you buy spring items.

blaajess @hwebb28 I wouldn’t say it’s an oversized fit because the manufacture did not tell me that and gave me the measurements. Do you know your measurements for a cardigan?? That’s mainly why sweaters are really expensive right now and also because it cost at least two dollars for a tag “own brand name” per item. I used them to make my own eyelash boxes with my name brand on it.

So I have used this wholesale portal before. It was when I first received the certificate to sale boutique item's on here. But upon more research I paid to receive my licenses to be able to purchase from other wholesale distributors outside of PM.

blaajess @hwebb28 . a lashbox is an false eyelashes box that i sketch out and design so they can make it. Same thing with your own tags or namebrand you designed it and they creat it and show you before producing it. Or u can buy that same cardigan from the manufacturer but with shipping itll be like u spent 16$ on it. I got each one for 10 something then i gta count shipping. But shipping is based on the weight of your whole order.
