cassieannc Hi! @raewesley95 What size would you recommend for me? I’m normally a 29/30 or an 8/10 in jeans. I know vintage Levi’s tend to run smaller... and I’ve purchased a few pairs of vintage Levi’s shorts on Poshmark. I generally sized up quite a bit to around a 33-34” waist and 44” hips’ measurements especially due to my hips being wide and having a big butt. 😌

cassieannc @raewesley95 Okay, I just measured and it’s about 34-35 inches at the belly button and 44 inches at the hips. I’m mostly concerned about the hips being wide enough. A few times that I’ve gotten Levi’s, the hips weren’t big enough!

crackerann Are these 501s. The old 501s weren’t super high waisted because they were for guys. I normally wear a size 12 pant. Are these button fly? If my waist is a 35 I would wear a 35 is that correct? I’m 5’6” so I think that’s a 32. I don’t want them baggy though high waisted and fitted around the thighs and butt. The trick is, once I got my butt in the jeans they were perfect the waist always fit. That’s the trick. The high waist makes them very flattering.

That’s always where I have my issues, even with regular jeans. I run between a size 14 and 16 in regular jeans. Sometimes I’ve even sized up to an 18 just to get jeans to fit through my thighs.
