Soooo sorry @jetsetter1074 :’( do dog rescue. It’s never easy. Time heals. Doesn’t erase our memories, but it does make it a little less painful as we go. I have seen so many folks get another. dog and have NEVER, not once . . . seen anything but joy come from it. Even from the ones that insist “it’s too soon”.
Hopefully you will start visiting your local shelter (kill camp) so he/she can pick YOU 😘 Our motto is: “Don’t Breed or buy while shelter dogs die!” 😉
