lobmier51 Brian, these boots were a gift. They are from Cowtown Boots in Texas. Go to www.cowtownboots.com. At the top click on men’s boots, 5th line down is ostrich skin click on that and the boots I have will appear. Boots 96. There is no brand name on them like Justin or Tony Lama. The only label says Cowtown. Hope this helps.

reginarani @stonecountry4 re: your comment on Lucchese boots never having nails in them - go to amazon and you will see several pair including limited edition boots with strategically put nails in symmetrical order on the bottoms of several boots. Please don’t make comments like that if you have no or limited knowledge to back it up with.

One thing I go by.for example.if a pair of boots cost retail 300 if a popular brand.in A+shape You can usually get 30 cents on the dollar if they are a exotic boots.regular boots around 15 to 20 cents on the dollar. But Boots like any other type of art depends on what Your buyer likes.

qualitydothan Hi Brian Thank you for the offer but I need to be pretty close to what I sent you. These are vintage very well made USA made boots when they still made them on the comb last and they were built like a tank, not the modern boots of much less quality. They have been stored with boot trees and They have been well conditioned throughout their life and have been worn less than a dozen times, the soles and heels are original and in fantastic shape. solid 9 out of a 10.

lifessentialz Hello Brian! First off, ty4ur interest in and offer on the boots. We both know they are out of the ordinary and quite special. They could also use a little Rehab TLC - but are far from being beyond redemption. My wife listed these a while back w/o any serious attempt (which we are quite adept at) to pretty them up, short of wiping them down. A little detailing, maybe a trip to the cobbler, too, would go a LONG way to providing greater “curb appeal”…
