With each Season ex: Fall, Winter, etc.. try to start posting ur items 3-4 weeks before that Season starts everybody loves shopping in advance. Share.. Share.. Share.. ur own closets items! Take great lite photos, ur Cover shot is everything it makes ur item stand out.

Also, get to know your brands an what brands sell well no matter what we call those your ‘bread n’ butter’ brands. Anthropologie is a good bra and that holds a good re-sell value if your just starting! Also have a variety of sizes. Try to have a few items that you can share to each Posh Party it will bring traffic to your closet.

An don’t overwhelm yourself with Inventory purchase Inventory that your able to list quickly! Don’t get behind! I’m right now behind! I took a month off listing an now have about 250+ items that need to be listed! Lol! So don’t build up what we call ‘Death Piles’ don’t over but Inventory! But most of all in beginning it’s all trial n’ error..

vtg_bohemian @robyncantor Hello Beautiful! There’s a few different ways you can get the “Bright White Background”. Me, I take my photos on my wall which I painted “White” in my Extra room in my home which I converted into my “POSH ROOM”. I hang my item on a clear acrylic hanger which I got from “Container store”, they work the best because they blend into background when taking my photos. Then I hang item off a “Command Hook”....

vtg_bohemian @robyncantor .... I also have Photography Sift Box Lighting Kit which I purchased off Amazon, that’s how I get my bright photos... Then after I take my photo I go into an App in my iPhone called “Pic.Tap.Go” and I enchanted the brightness just a little bit on my photos. That makes the background seamless and that command book disappears in my item. It’s a “Process taking photos”! But totally worth it! Lol!

vtg_bohemian @robyncantor I just looked in your Closet. So, I see you have a lot of jewelry items etc , besides actual clothing. A quick trick you could use to get a white background on those items is easy. Me, I purchased a “Lightbox” again off Amazon ( it’s pretty pricey about $175 ) but, a cheap way to achieve a white background on your jewelry, or shoes or any smaller item is easy....

vtg_bohemian @robyncantor ... you can get a thick Poster board like the foam boards that have the smooth white surface on each surface side ( I believe Home Depot or Lowe’s has them!) and place that on the floor near a window or even outside where there’s slot of natural light. It will give you that white background behind your item... Sorry for such a long response I’m the worst at explaining things.. By the time I’m done explaining something I have written a NOVEL! Lol! 😂

vtg_bohemian @robyncantor One Tip I do have as far as the way your Listing your Antique jewelry etc.. List is as VINTAGE. Always use VINTAGE wording NOT Antique.. So under the Brand name list it under VINTAGE it will get more exposure. For example: Vintage | Stemmed Embellished Flower Brooch.. People are ALWAYS searching under VINTAGE not Antique it might help with your exposure .. and your descriptions are FANTASTIC keep up the great work on the way your describing your item, it’s PERFECT!

vtg_bohemian @robyncantor In the description area you can describe the item as being an ANTIQUE whatever the item is but ALWAYS list as Vintage. People follow the Vintage thread and when looking for older pieces are typing in VINTAGE for their searches. Hope sum of this is Helpful.
