lux_lajolla I just bought one on Poshmark and you have to be very careful now because the fake one gets better and it is hard to know unless you have the real one next to you. They even use the authentic box and the belt bag to make it look believable. You can check my post where I also have pics comparing the fake and real one. Thanks for your posting. It’s sad because you don’t know if you can rest assure to get a real one anymore.

hindlehome Does Gucci now putting two Circle stamps above the GUCCI Made in Italy and belt numbers? Is it real or fake if it has a G in a circle and the trademark stamp of R in a smaller circle?

kassirr @hindlehome not that I’m aware of no. Most of the time, if you question its authenticity most likely it’s not real. Maybe the stamping has changed since last year, but I highly doubt it. Best way to know for sure is to check it out at the store or chat with a Gucci rep online! Hope that helps(:

hindlehome @kassirr it wasn’t authentic and it came with a receipt as well! The tip was the “location” of the store on the receipt. It was misspelled when I googled it. Then when I called the store they confirmed it wasn’t authentic. Amazing the lengths these people go to.

guarinoj Hi, does the GG buckle vary in shininess? I have a belt, told to be authentic by a seller on Poshmark. Everything looks great but the GG is a little shinier than the one in the store. No receipt or box. I took it to Neiman's but they are not allowed to authenticate and I do not have a local store here. Thank you

yazi5 @yiotam17 they usually buy fake Gucci for $65 and sell them on Poshmark for $260... Think about it who has that much Gucci belts to sell in the beginning, for that low price... and the fake GG is shiny and on the real one it’s not supposed to be as shiny....

yazi5 @bertboudreaux If you go on a seller and they are selling multiple ones and they’re all for $200 to $250, that’s when you need to be careful because nobody can have that many belts and sell them that cheap.! I searched on YouTube and they also bought from people on here and they were fake. It’s sad what people will do just to make money

tcmalecki @yazi5 THANK YOU!! I was checking a listing here, and someone asked the seller about authenticity. Seller replied she gets them from a boutique and there are no receipts. So, why would a boutique sell them to her at a lower price ( she’s selling them for $260.00) when they could sell the belts to their own customers? Hope that theory made sense. And B. Why would this girl have so many? Not like you can buy in bulk Prob is, is that here look REALLY good. I can’t tell the difference.

yazi5 @tcmalecki Yes the fake ones looks so real that it’s very hard to see the difference but I guarantee you that most majority of these people are selling them and they are fake and telling people they are authentic it’s sad what people will do for money...And if you buy them off of the fake websites they’re actually $60. So on here they tell people they’re authentic to make a profit out of them

yazi5 @cris9988 You actually can’t tell of the serial number when you’re just looking at it but when you go to check it out at the real Gucci store if it’s fake or not they will let you know and type it in in their system. A girl on YouTube Bought a belt from Poshmark and took it to the store to see if it’s real and it was fake.! She was so surprised because she couldn’t tell the difference between them.!

My friend bought the same belt - the belt she received has the exact same serial numbers in the area where they should be. Assuming this means both are fake - correct? Each new style Gucci Guccissima belt should have different numbers other than the size area - correct?

We see most are posted with the serial number by the buckle but hers has it towards the middle of the belt.
