slynn33 @lisastylz Hello. Welcome to PM and thanks for reaching out to me. Not sure how long you have been selling but it seems like it's been slower than normal for me on traffic and sales too. Not sure if you have any wiggle room in your pricing but sometimes I offer the discount to "likers" and that sparks a sale. That's a good temporary way to see if an item will sale.

slynn33 @lisastylz Sometimes, I just drop the price totally and usually that seems to spark new interest. I have figured out that most people want really good deals (which totally makes you sacrifice making what you want to make and most often you feel defeated over what you feel like the item is worth). If I don't budge on price, most items usually take a good while to sell.

slynn33 @lisastylz I have found that most people are on here early in the mornings or late in the evenings. Sharing your items at those time may get you more visibility. Also, share your items to parties. Sharing other people's items will normally get you some pay back shares which their shares go out to all their followers.

slynn33 @lisastylz I often try and analyze my own closet to see if my pictures and descriptions are good and also ask myself if I was a buyer, would I pay that price for it? You have to try and be unbiased though because most of the items we own we are partial to. And back to pictures... scroll through and remember the cover shot is the first thing someone sees. Make sure that at a first quick glance buyers notice what the item is.

slynn33 @lisastylz I get impatient too so don't feel alone! I received a low ball offer yesterday too on an item. I just send a counter offer of what the lowest I would take on it and then if they want it they could purchase, and if they didn't then it will sit there for the next person that comes along. slynn33 @lisastylz sorry it took me so long to reply. I had to be at work early this morning and it really threw my routine off. I have had that same question before and even contacted PM support to see what they said. They assured me my items were being shared. Here are a few things I found helpful when I actually do locate my items after sharing. I share and then go quickly to the party feed and search for it.

slynn33 @lisastylz there are so many items being shared at once that the item you are sharing drops quickly in the party feed. Another thing is sometimes the size/item you are sharing does not match up to what you have your filter set on. For example: you share a size 11 shoe to the party but you have your PM filter size set on 7. I THINK the parties filter items based on your choices.

glassprism70 Very true. People are using PM as their small business outlet and PM is pushing selling items because ugh this from them wholesale. Hope they remember to claim the small business income on their taxes. Meanwhile. PM is still the best place to buy and sell with the best people.

I feel like I'd be insane to purchase items I'm gonna have to mark up just to make money. Just my thoughts.... I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I am on here daily - every spare minute I have sharing & participating in the community & my hourly rate is pennies. So glad I enjoy cleaning my closet space. Lol.

If you felt it’s worth the time, you could take pictures w/ a solid light colored background (so the items show up better) or use an app that allows you to erase background noise. I’ve been wanting to do mine but haven’t found time. Just browse around others closes & see what you like/dislike in each—that will give you ideas.

On the Thank you notes, she does a wax stamp seal which makes the note that more special. we plan on having a room dedicated to poshing only. so far, it's been fun! We have sold to 4 customers and we have received 5 rating with love notes. That's another thing we high five after the delivery.... lots of excitement. haha.
