@kristenu222 hi! I can't say they run big. I normally wear 7, 6.5 in adidas originals superstar. And I find these true to size. I can even go half size up because of the sock fit, they still will fit great. I wouldn't recommend going down in size as the material may tear at the front because of the pressure
