megamom2007 Question about your boutique... when did you start investing in boutique? I’m wondering if I should wait till I have more followers and more consistent sales.

burnitdownfash @megamom2007 I waited a month after I started using posh. I joined a lot of follow groups to increase my follower base to get more people to share my items. The key is to consistently share your own items first. It's more of a long term investment. You might not see the results you're hoping for right off the bat, but if you sell a few things and are successful then take the money you earn and invest that towards more items. That's what I have been doing.

burnitdownfash @megamom2007 I would start sharing your items to your followers often and it should increase sales, but I understand the ambassador status. It requires a lot of community shares.

megamom2007 @burn_itdown yes! 5k to be exact. I have 3 kids and a husband. I jump on every spare moment I have to share things but it seems like I’m getting nowhere. 🤦🏻‍♀️ haha. Thanks for the input though. So have you had good luck with your boutique items?

burnitdownfash @megamom2007 It's on and off for my luck. I have a 6 yr old, husband and full time job. So lunch breaks and free time I have I try to share as much as I can. More people have been buying boutique items, but there are days where nothing is sold. I log everything to see my progression. I have sold quite a few things overall.

megamom2007 @burn_itdown of you don’t mind me asking. What sort of setup do you have to keep your closet inventory? I’m using bins but digging every time something sells is a pain. Sorry to ask so many questions but I like picking other people’s brains to get ideas and nobody else has responded. I’m really wanting to turn this into a profitable business and eventually open a retail store.

burnitdownfash @megamom2007 Right now I have everything sorted in a closet by sizes on racks and shelves. As I add more I'm going to buy a separate type of rack and keep everything separated by sizes still to make things easier.

burnitdownfash @debbiebooth963 The best thing you can do is to continually share the items from your closet. Gaining more followers will also help in having more people looking at your closet.

burnitdownfash @debbiebooth963 If you don't have time to share your closet all that much, shoot to share your closet during peak hrs. I've Googled the best times to share on Posh, which I think the hour before the last party of the day is when the most people are online. But there are a few other optimal times to target share as well.
