vintage316 @danciaw Well...you're talking to a girl who wears cowboy boots 365 days a year 🤔 Yes, even with this dress. Having said that, if you could get me out of boots, I would wear a black heel (not too high, contrary to the picture of the hoochie mamma on the cover of the fishnets-wink) that had an ankle wrap/tie. . There is so much color here, would also be fun with a punchy color but it might take away from the dress! 😍

vintage316 @danciaw Well, any of us, regardless of size can fly under the radar in Black or Navy. But, I think a super fun & flirty piece can also be attractive for any size. In my opinion, it's all about a proper fit. Having something that flatters & fits is key. I think the understated shoes so it's not too flashy and overwhelming to the senses is a good idea (opposed to a shoe the competes and pops). It's also about your comfort level and confidence.

vintage316 @tinkerrn This runs a little big. Want to make sure your measurement is a true bust measurement taken with a soft tape while wearing a bra, no pulling on tape (opposed to a bra size). If your truly 36”, the small would give you an inch on each side which would be a tailored fit. The medium would give you two inches on each side. I like to see about an inch and a half on each side with a piece like this, so you’re kind of in between.

vintage316 @tinkerrn That’s thanks to my grandfather and country roots 😉 Ol’ saying are never in short supply around my family. The neckline is the depth of a “V” and technically a “V”, but it’s a soft V opposed to a sharp V....subtle scoop if that makes sense. I sure didn’t do a very good job of showing the neckline 🙈

vintage316 @tinkerrn @tinkerrn Just saw it 😉 Since this is a Bralette, we would still run with your true bust measurement being that there aren’t any true cups. So...based on 36” I still say medium which is 30”. It will stretch to fit. I have the medium on the dress form as well and she is your bust size (although you are more narrow than her with a larger bust, but the same overall width) if that makes sense.

vintage316 @kikitua Great questions! Ok, I’m wearing it in the photo...and likely your bust twin 🤣 I’m all shoulder and no bust. The dress is lined, but I found the lining a bit thin for my liking and I wear a vintage slip under both pieces (I’m modest too) 😉

vintage316 @kikitua I’m 5’9” and dresses with jeans are a pretty normal thing for me as most “dresses” are more like tunics on me. I would say if you are “tall”, it could be really cute. If you aren’t tall, I’m afraid it might look frumpy.

tinkerrn @vintage316 well Jules - I haven’t worn yet tags still in place - and I went to try on for sons wedding. Think a small would fit better now since I’ve lost weight. ( 3 day affair - bridal luncheon - rehearsal dinner - wedding ) can I trade out medium for small ? Or prefer I resell ? And buy small
