Vintage Basile Couture Red Carpet Velvet Gown

Vintage Basile velvet viscose evening gown done in a 1930s elegant style. It has a draped drop waist, button down front and short sleeves. The skirt of the dress is pulled up to drape with dramatically high front slit. Zip back. This is about a size small and measures bust 32, waist 26, hips 36 length 50. Basile's designer, Luciano Soprani had fabulous designs and was very expensive. He also designed for Gucci. Very few pieces of his private label clothing show up for sale and are rare!
