brett_moyerI remember issuing those to the players and how pumped everyone was. Those were the first custom travel shoes the team ever got. They look great for being 14 years old now. Made my day getting to see them.

brett_moyer@poshgoyard absolutely. Let me know if you want to see the travel shoes I still have - just to see. It’s pretty cool seeing the different styles.

poshgoyard@brett_moyer we’re you a coach on the team

brett_moyer@poshgoyard I was a student equipment manager from 2001-2005 then became the full time Asst Equipment Manager in 2005 and stayed on till 2010.

Oct 15Reply

poshgoyard@brett_moyer that’s awesome. So these were basically only given out to the players and staff for one year?

Oct 15Reply

brett_moyer@poshgoyard after the season they became “workout” shoes so the players could keep them. During the season we (the EQ staff) had to issue them for the game and then collect them all after.

Oct 15Reply

brett_moyerI just posted the travel shoes for the year following yours in my closet.

Oct 15Reply

poshgoyard@brett_moyer wow! Well I am happy to have these in my closet. Doesn’t seem like there are many out there in the wild after all this time

Oct 15Reply

brett_moyer@poshgoyard there were only about 200 made
