newlynelson@msullivan034 exactly. Yes yes yes. Make sure to watermark your receipt pictures because I have had mine stolen before

Aug 12Reply

msullivan034@newlynelson yup I had receipt pics stolen from me too - it’s insane!!! That’s why I just put a copy in with the order instead of posting a pic. It’s crazy!!! And there’s more and more sites offering replica items all the time. I feel like it’s gonna take someone getting severely hurt in order for sites to take this more seriously. eBay is one of the worst about allowing replicas! Can you tell I’m passionate about this topic 😂😂😂

Apr 12Reply

newlynelson@jorgerengifo3 I want to be sure you’re selling authentic lip kits because this is what the counterfeits can do and what they contain.

Apr 12Reply

newlynelson@ashbabs93

Apr 12Reply

hookedonposhOh my goodness !!! Thank you for sharing

Apr 12Reply

hookedonposhI'm afraid to buy make up on posh . A posher stopped me from buying fake kylie kits I was so grateful!

Apr 12Reply

msullivan034Definitely sharing this! The replica industry is expanding more and more and getting more tricky each day. Twice I’ve received replicas on here and was furious. I encourage all of my buyers to take items to Sephora or Ulta to have them verify authenticity. I’m not sure if you tagged me because you thought I sold replicas or because you knew I didn’t - but either way now you know I am all about sharing this info!

Apr 12Reply

msullivan034Ok yes you had me double check all my Kylie’s! I went as far as pulling them from sale, purchased 2 from her site, and waited to compare mine to ensure they were authentic (they were.) But I’m glad I waited to double check because I didn’t buy them directly so they could have been fakes. Keep spreading the word!

Apr 12Reply

newlynelson@msullivan034 sorry! I tagged you because, from our discussion of your lip kits, you are against the replica industry and are a kind person.

Apr 12Reply

newlynelson@wendy_728

Apr 12Reply

msullivan034@newlynelson I'm so glad you did tag me! This is a serious problem for our health, for our integrity, and for the makeup selling community. These replicas also dilute the value of our real high end cosmetics and then people expect the same price. I just couldn't imagine being able to sleep at night knowing that I was scamming people and putting them in potential danger!

Apr 12Reply

newlynelson@msullivan034 exactly. Perfectly said

Apr 12Reply

ashbabs93@newlynelson are we supposed to report the tagged people? Or are the tagged people supposed to help in reporting fakes? So glad you are doing this! I also made a listing about how to spot fakes, I have it at $3 so more people click it to read it. Maybe you should do the same?

Apr 13Reply

msullivan034I just did a search for Kylie lip kits and the first ten or so are all replicas. I reported them all but they will still be there long enough for someone to come buy them. Too Faced pallets are almost just as commonly replicated - a white chocolate bar search provides all replicas as well. Posh doesn’t take this serious enough.

Apr 13Reply

newlynelson@msullivan034 Of course they don’t. They make 20% of every sale and more than that if the item is less that $15. They make money and don’t care. It’s absolutely absurd. I’ve actually reported Poshmark to the Federal Trade Commission and the FBI counterfeit investigation section (I can’t remember the actual branch name). It’s insane how long it takes them to shut people down. It pisses me off so bad

Apr 13Reply

newlynelson@ashbabs93 Sorry! No no, the people I tagged are the ones to help report. I made it more expensive so that as I drop the price, it will notify the people who liked it to share it.

Apr 13Reply

msullivan034@newlynelson girl you really showed me the light on this situation and I’m furious! I see it everywhere now - eBay, Amazon, FB etc. and no one seems to care - there are even FB groups where they sell nothing but replicas and I’m like how the hell is this allowed. If it was a group selling heroin it’d be shut down - but this is just as illegal and they let it go. Smh!!!

Apr 13Reply

newlynelson@msullivan034 it’s so awful. People are just ignorant to the fake that they are made with toxic chemicals. I think they think well purses and shoes that are replicas don’t hurt me so how could makeup. They have no idea. It makes me furious

Apr 13Reply

newlynelson@letsglow That’s exactly why I’m trying to educate people because it’s terrifying

Apr 16Reply

letsglow@newlynelson it's truly terrifying, I know people personally that buys fakes knowing that it is fake. I have tried to warn them and all they keep saying is oh well. Smh!! It's worth the extra money to spend to get authentic, then risk possibly getting a staph infection, chemical burns, and all the other horrifying stuff. But for people that don't know how to spot it, this is great for them to see and read on so they can learn what to look for in fakes.

newlynelson@kbaubs12 @celeste701 @kmcintyre033090 @livinlavida @katlynnxmarie @jroy585 @breannah1992 @laurenshkolnick @leeshx @syarrraaaa @kkyardo Hey ladies!! I saw you recently liked some lip kits sold by liljrit and wanted you to know their items are counterfeits. Counterfeits are extremely dangerous. $700K worth of counterfeits were recently seized in LA, mainly Kylie products, and were found to contain large amounts of rat feces. Please help us keep Poshmark safe and report these counterfeits.

Apr 18Reply

leeshx@newlynelson thanks girl!!

Apr 18Reply

newlynelson@leeshx no problem. Feel free to ask questions anytime

Apr 18Reply

ginabj@newlynelson 🌺Thank you for putting this info out there! We need to remember that we are all targets for great makeup buys. It’s easy to check out on product sites! We need to make our health very important and a sale may be your last or some disease. If you can’t wash it sterilize it yourself I don’t want it and will trash it! Thank you👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😉

Apr 18Reply

newlynelson@ginabj thank you very much for that. Much appreciated.

Apr 18Reply

newlynelson@csmbabby it’s amazing how evil some people are

Apr 19Reply

msullivan034I think we should start a listing of all the replica items that we have identified and reported and follow up and see how long it takes Posh to respond. 9/10 they don't respond because they send these listings to Posh Ambassadors to review. I review listings all the time and I don't know much about certain brands so I have to pass on the item. This whole system is flawed. I think we should keep track and then send the listing to Poshmark to show them how poorly it's handled.

Apr 23Reply

newlynelson@msullivan034 actually if you make a listing of people selling replicas, that is a fast way to get banned from Poshmark because they call it “harassment”. I think it’s ridiculous but my friend was banned for it. Poshmark doesn’t care either because I’ve brought to their attention NUMEROUS times.

newlynelson@mindyjean2015 they aren’t showing up in my search

Sep 16Reply

mindyjean2015@newlynelson it’s @ beautykoture3

Sep 16Reply

mindyjean2015Haha she is claiming I sell fakes, anyone with half a cell in their head can tell my closest is authentic and her stuff is so clearly fake. It makes me sad because people get hurt. I do have some items that are swatched but am clear about it and buyer knows risk if they buy

Sep 16Reply

newlynelson@mindyjean2015 what is she saying is fake of yours?

Sep 16Reply

mindyjean2015@newlynelson yes on her listing for fake Tarte brushes lol ok! I literally post how to tell the difference probably not and what is sold on eBay for cheap that’s fake

Sep 16Reply

mindyjean2015@newlynelson your comment was so nice and polite 😊

Sep 16Reply

newlynelson@mindyjean2015 really? I thought I was a little too aggressive

Sep 16Reply

mindyjean2015@newlynelson lol nah, if she was being straight up and a woman about it. But she is trying to pass off as authentic and then calls out others. I thought it was nice compared to how I want to call her out. I wish posh did more about these clearly fake listings. I get some don’t know they have a fake. But she does

Sep 16Reply

newlynelson@zccfancycloset please don’t buy counterfeits. They are very dangerous

newlynelson@tride_n_true

Nov 02Reply

newlynelson@char0963 I don’t believe they are in department stores like Macy’s but I know Walmart was selling fake jeffree Star lipsticks from their website at one time. It’s scary and most people have no idea

Nov 07Reply

newlynelson@junis_closet631 Kylie has NEVER made an eyebrow product. That is a fact. We aren’t judging, it’s a FACT. Counterfeits are dangerous!

Nov 12Reply

macexoxolee@newlynelson I was burnt on my face from fake makeup for 5 months now I’m terrified of buying makeup on here

Nov 29Reply

newlynelson@macexoxolee that’s so terrifying! It makes me so angry when people know they are selling fakes but think since they never had something bad happen that I’m a crazy lunatic that doesn’t know what I’m talking about. I’m so sorry that happened to you!

Nov 29Reply

macexoxolee@newlynelson right!!!!! I see people getting so mad because they’re like ohh you don’t know what you’re talking about like hello I know EXACTLY what I’m talking about then they lie and say ohh yeah I got that from ulta or whatever I hate it!!! It’s all better now but thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Nov 29Reply

newlynelson@macexoxolee it’s a never ending battle. I wish Kylie would fight it more though. Jeffree star has done a bunch of “sting” operations with customs and sued a bunch of the third party retailers and you barely see many JS counterfeits. But Kylie just lets it all go and they’re taking over!

Nov 29Reply

aslovich😱🤯😧 WOW! I had no idea the extent of the fakery and am totally shocked to read about all the horrifying chemicals and toxic ingredients! I tend to purchase my makeup in person/in store and I think partly, it’s because I do have a suspicion about buying makeup/cosmetics online... I’ve been wanting to start buying more makeup on posh! and I feel more confident now after reading this and learning how not to be duped❤️. Thank you for sharing!

Feb 17Reply

newlynelson@cigi70 it makes me so angry especially when people know they’re doing it but just want the money. They think that just because they haven’t had an issue that it isn’t a thing. Thank you for sharing your appreciation

newlynelson@roo1987 Your ignorance is alarming. Kylie Cosmetics IS Kylie Jenner. That box style is OWNED by Kylie Jenner. You have also been reported for selling ILLEGAL makeup. You only care about ripping people off, obviously. @mommalis @sarah_balvanz This girl things Kylie Cosmetics isn’t Kylie Jenner. Check out the comment on her mascara to me. Literally proves she knows it’s fake but is ok scamming people

Aug 12Reply

msullivan034@newlynelson I am including receipts with any of the makeup I sell. If a seller doesn’t have a receipt it is a huge red flag. This needs to end! We all need to be proactive in reporting fakes or we will end up not being able to sell ANY makeup. Let’s all make a commitment to integrity and only buy from trusted sellers.
