Authentic Frye long-retired ELAINE Satchel handbag. Made w distressed leather & i πed her way 2 much so distressed from wear beautifully on strap n overall. She's my baby that rivals all my bags & was partially a gift from my folks ππβοΈπ’. In gr8 used Vntg cond from a smoke-pet-free home. Carries so much and things are easy to find. V sturdy VERY MILDLY FIRM AS SHE's a unique bag u find once in eons in this coveted cognac brown. L -12, H - 6 & W - 4 though this bag expands slightly more. A bag u will have 4 many enjoyable years. No offers below $500 as I want Poshmark to assess and authenticate this so scammers are discouraged from.....scamming. BELIEVE ME, I will cry a river for sure when this lovely has to go bc she was bagged by a lucky bagger esp because Frye company has closed all of their NYC stores. ππ₯ΉππβοΈ. I am a laid back gal who carries Avery vintage Le Sportsac classic Crossbody but the days I want to put a lil effort on my look, I reach out for cute bags, doesn't have to be leather but FRYE leather (Italian) n quality is just so substantial ain't it so? Hope their quality won't wane since they are no longer an exclusively American brand. With every merge & handover, originality n quality somehow always wither. π«

I would keep this one! It's very rare! You could always sell later for the same amount or more and use it for time being. And I believe this color is called whiskey, so again really rare!

O plus my most fav leather is Pebbled leather which Elaine is not. Furla leather is to die for. A wise and avid buyer on Posh are aware of items listed as "NOT FOR SALE" such as this one where the potential sellers lists them so just to get feedback on the item, preview for their potential future item and on when on vacation plus etc. my reason was the first one - to get the opinion of other poshers regarding whether to keep this bag or the other Frye small Crossbody I have for sell.

I have this male vintage collector who loves Frye n he offered me $500 n I declined in a πbeat politely as it is never abt the money for me. I am not handheld kinda girl but I don't mind carrying her like that when I did have to.
